  Clean Comfort Inn

  We stay here for 2 night end of Aug- September 1st. Hotel was clean, beds was comfortable and staff was friendly. Convenient location to downtown and Custer State Park & Mount Rushmore. I was highly recommend and definitely would stay again if in the area.

  Great Hotel, but breakfast was a joke

  We would stay here again, however, their bkfst consisted of a bottle of water, an apple and two kids fruit snacks from Sams. The Comfort Inn at Custer SD (12 miles away) has a FULL bkfst, just like usual. It seems the Hill City hotel is taking advantage of this opportunity to not have to serve any kind of real bkfst. Very Disappointing.

  Only Place to Stay!

  Wonderful facility. Clean, safe and sanitized. Grab and go bag could be better. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a soft chair to relax in. Fast wifi. Elevator. Masks are worn. Parking is safe and convenient.

  Wish we could have stayed longer! Will stay there again!

  What a wonderful find! Attractive exterior and clean, spacious and well done lobby! Great room! Quiet! (That's a biggie for us!) Comfortable beds! We don't have TV service at home but this one had some decent selections. :-) There was a nice little refrigerator and microwave in the room. There was a large and nice looking guest laundry. There was a computer gaming room and a work out room. And one of the nicest things was that their pool and hot tub were not only open, with generous hours, but they used a salt water based pool cleaning system so no nasty and unhealthy chlorine smell in the pool area or on our skin! So very pleasant! We loved this place!

  Great location for area attractions. Nice room

  My husband and I recently spent 4N at this hotel. Check-in was easy and fast, front desk clerks very nice. Room spacious, bed comfortable, heat/ac unit worked well and was quiet. There were some hairs on the sides of the bathtub and the drawer handles were covered in dust, so not sure how clean the room actually was. We disinfect the room anyhow whenever we travel. There was not an in-room safe to store valuables which we did not like. They do not do housekeeping or AM breakfast with covid. We knew this, but they should put extra soaps in the rooms for anything over 2N so we didn't have to go to the front desk for everything. We ate breakfast in the room every morning before heading out, worked out great and desk gave us plates and utensils. Hot coffee available all the time which was nice. We tried to use the computer to print out our boarding passes and the system wouldn't allow access to Delta website, strange? The guy at the front desk was a little aloof and not quite as friendly as the others, but was still OK. The location was perfect for our travels to Badlands, WY, and the Black Hills. Would stay again if we visit the area.
