  As the name says, indeed a delightful experience

  They certainly know how to keep up to their name. An entirely delightful experience. The resort is well capable of serving large groups, families and couples. With various rooms to offer. The best part of that all rooms are spacious with very clean and well equipped washrooms. It's the first resort where I had seen soap and shampoo dispensers( good idea during covid times). Suites offer big porches with swings and seating and a beautiful view of the hill. The resort has a quaint lake with a small dam ( non powered) too just a small hike away. They are taking as much precautions for covid as possible with all staff with masks, sanitisation ( contactless sanitisers in all corners of the resort), contact less room service and disinfection of luggage. A big shout out to the management Hema( very very helpful and courteous) , Mr.Bala Subramanian; the pain he took to make sure all guests are well fed and all needs met during breakfast with a big smile was so heartwarming. Entire staff is courteous and helpful ,though majority of them are comfortable with tamil but served the guests very well.. p.s they have cottages too and a trampoline for kids and two gardens( one big one small for bonfire and breakfast) Must must have the food served here, it was delicious. I recommend their chilly chicken ( green and normal) and delightz special chicken curry.

  Nice place with friendly staff in the middle of nowhere

  The hotel is far from the centre and it's hard to access unless you are driving yourself. But the rooms are very nice. The staff is very friendly and food is good. The bed is very comfortable for a couple with 2 kids. The water heater is a bit slow, takes about 20 minutes to heat. The rooms look heavily renovated, which is a good thing. I choose the cheapest room (deluxe room with no view) which turned out good. It was too cold to sit in the balcony anyway. And the lawn is open , so you can sit there in case you want to enjoy the view/vold.The rooms with balcony view look nice, the balconies look big, almost as big as the room itself. They serve breakfast in the lawn in front, which I liked. The breakfast is typical south Indian and very good. There are no heaters in the room, but you can order one. The flooring is wood and they have mats around the bed, so the room doesn't feel so cold. The TV mostly have Tamil content with very few Hindi channels. No Telugu which was a bummer.

  Top notch service

  I recently stayed with a big group of friends. I have stayed in Delightz Inn earlier in 2019 with my family and this time it was more fun with a group of friends. All rooms in the resort and villa was neatly maintained. We had our private bonfire in the villa which was really nice. Suresh and Arun from the management side extremely warm, friendly and took care of our needs. Staff are all very professional, attending and helpful. Kudos to Bala, Navneeth for their wonderful service. On a wonderful night, if you are lucky, you may spot a herd of Bisons around the resort which is an amazing sight to watch. Resort arranges local sightseeing trip, horse riding, trekking guides if you are in for it. I was fortunate to do horse ride and a little bit of trek in to the tiger hills forest with my 7 year old. Guides arranged by the resort were extremely knowledgeable, know the local trails and rich of trivia. If you are looking for a get-away to Ooty away from the hustle bustle of the city, secluded with breath-taking views, look no other than Delightz Inn. It is delightful indeed as the same suggests. Resort is apt for families, honeymoon couples and a relaxing group of friends who like to have fun without disturbing other guests.

  Premium compact mountain view room

  I stayed in delight's in resort Ooty for 3 nights. We opted for mountain view room. Location of the property is very nice as it is near tiger hill. There is lawn opposite to room to walk wher u can see mountains. Hyegine and safety was taken care as per covid protocol. Rooms are very spacious and perfect for couple stay. Staff was very polite and helpfull. Only thing needs improvement is food. If you include dinner they have fixed menu and limited option. Even for breakfast limited options which can be improved. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

  A perfect retreat

  The best stay of my 100 days roadtrip so far. Delightzinn is only resort located on highest altitude of south India & situated in top of tiger hills. Entire resort is covered by doddabetta forest & backside of resort. Its a true bliss watching sunset from resort & also you can watch it from room balconies. Climatic conditions will be different in delightzinn compared to city (at least 3-4 degree) There are totally 26 rooms in delightzinn & 6 categories. Every room is tastefully designed to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Culinary from delightzinn is top notch. Especially tandoori starters , momos , hot garlic soup, pineapple yakituri. The staff is very warm and friendly. They ensure to take care of your every requirement, so that you have a great time here.
