  Great Downtown Hotel

  Centrally located, SUPER beautiful lobby and common areas. The rooms are nice with super comfy beds. I feel like this hotel is over looked as it is a great value for quality accommodations in downtown Minneapolis.

  Very good stay

  Stayed for 3 nights. The staff from efficient check in to those at breakfast and at the bar were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are all really clean and comfortable but the colour scheme gives an overall dark and gloomy feeling. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again as overall a very comfortable place to stay.

  Beautiful

  wow. This hotel is beautifully done. From the natural plants in the common area/lobby to the militaristic style rooms you will not be disappointed. Great location downtown with cheap underground parking across the street

  Stunning hotel with super friendly staff

  My fiancé and I checked into this gorgeous hotel the day after it reopened in July 2020. This hotel lobby is STUNNING. You are surrounded by lush green plants, beautiful marble and glass tile, and cozy places to sit left and right. We were blown away at how pretty it was. We enjoyed learning that this property used to be a bank that was converted to a hotel (you can even see the old bank vaults still installed in a few places in the lobby). It is conveniently located to public transport and in a very walkable location. We were able to walk to the river to sightsee, walk to Target, walk to restaurants and more. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at the front desk, given an upgraded room (without even asking for it) and chatted with Tobias, the General Manager, as we learned about the hotels history & reopening. He, and the staff, clearly take a lot of pride in their hotel, it's history, and the work they do to make it a warm and friendly place to stay. Given the pandemic and how topsy-turvy the world is right now, we had concerns traveling and staying in a hotel away from home. These concerns were immediately squashed as we saw how immaculate the hotel and our room was. Extra precautions were put into place, including limiting the cleaning staff from entering the room every day. I can not say enough about how beautiful this hotel is and how friendly the staff was. When we were there the coffee bar & restaurant hadn't re-opened yet. I am looking forward to staying in this property again and enjoying what is sure to be incredible food, in a gorgeous setting. Thanks Tobias and staff for setting our minds at ease by providing such a beautiful and clean hotel for our stay.

  Love this hotel, absolutely beautiful inside!

  We came up to Minneapolis and this was our first time staying at the Emory Hotel. We had a lot of Marriott Bonvoy points saved up so we thought we'd use some. The hotel is just beautiful inside with all the marble. We found out that it had been a bank a long time ago and was converted into a hotel. They have a nice bar area on the first floor as well as a coffee bar that is open until 1pm during the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the state by wearing masks and requiring others to as well. We were able to get upgraded to a king suite which gave us a sitting room with a couch in addition to the sleeping area. Everything was very quite, we didn't hear a peep from anyone. The only complaint I had was that they suspended valet service for awhile due to Covid-19. I had to park across the street at the 5th street tower and then walk back. It really wasn't that big of a deal except trying to find my way out of the garage.....LOL. Safe to say that we really liked this hotel and the next time were up in Minneapolis we'll be staying again.
