  Tirol - The Unique point on our planet. Skirast - excellent choice for discover this place.

  I was first time in Tirol, and at this hotel - Skirast. It was not on my schedule in nearest futures, but thanks to my friend I visited this wonder. Not so many places in Europe where I wasn't, but this place surprised me! Skirast located a little outside from main cities such as Kitzbuehl or Kirchberg, that give you absolute peace. Same time, hotel has everything you need even more - as sauna and swimming pool. We were on September, and this time is OK for hiking. Many routes started just from Skirast, passing by mountain river, hills and valleys. Thanks to very good breakfast in Skirast, we crossed around 10-20 km per day by walk and didnt think about lunch. Especially I want say about dinners at Skirast. It was included in our rate, and it was very smart decision, because this area quiet posh and restaaurants (not sure all better as Skirast) has expensives offers. Dinner in Skirast was diffrent everyday, including salades buffet. Some dishes was made on a excellent level, such as cornfeed poult or see hake with herbs. Desert was also author's made and never I seen before. Prices for drink also reliable for this area. Staff is very professional, accurate, smiling, all of them are doing everything your stay will as real rest. Especially we want mentioned Petra - girl who managing by dinners, she is absolutly professioanl person. We recommending Skirast for visiting at September for walking, hiking, breathing and just enjoying of this amazing nature surroundings in the center of which this hotel located.

  Location location location

  Stayed with two friends whose double room was very smart and roomy. My single had an Austrian twin and was comfortable clean and well equipped. The shower was a feature. Hairdryer was provided. Meals were well presented and tasty. Service was very good. Breakfast was a well varied buffet with lots of fresh fruit yogurt meat cheeses and cakes and a variety of breads and rolls. There is no longer a pool but instead there is a wonderful spa area with two saunas two steam rooms an infrared back warmer and loads of relaxation couches. Free wifi worked a treat. There was a comfortable lounge. But the main plus point for me was location. Bus stops right outside, a large gondola lift a few minutes walk away, easy access to KiWest and easy and well lit slopes on which to ski home late in the day. We had no problem getting back after 5pm in January! A delightful holiday and we are all planning to return. Indeed I now have a pair of skis stored in their cellar.

  Exceptionally friendly owners

  We just came back from a cycling weekend with a one-night stay in Skirast. The owners went out of their way to make this short stay perfect for us. Not bringing locks was no problem, the bike were stored safely in the basement. We could also treat sunburn (ouch - we also didn't take sunscreen) with supplied cosmetics free of charge. If it gets a little chilly outside they even bring blankets. Lots of little things add up. Breakfast and dinner, as well as our spacious double room were decent for the price - two thumbs up.

  I just love it there!

  We went there in the wintertime a lot, first time in the summer., and sure not the last time! Exceptionally perfect as always! They renovated lots of things recently, every thing is clean and nice. Rooms are amazing and beds are super comfy. SPA area is absolutely brand new and we just loved it! All the food and meals we had were wonderful and delicious We absolutely recommend the skirast! The owners are super friendly too!

  Great customer service

  I organized a family ski trip for December for 6 people. Anna, was extremely helpful and answered all our questions, even the ones that didn't involve her "gasthof". She gave us tips and help re: ski rental, skit ticket transportations, g-free food etc. Unfortunately a few people from our family didn't get the vacation time that was required for that time and we had to cancel the ski trip. Anna again was very understanding and helpful, returned the first installment right away. I really hope that we can visit and spend some time soon in Skirast. Thank you Anna :-)
