Great views of nature, no appreciation for Marriott Loyalty and understaffed! Our overall experience was average. I read some reviews that made of cautious of the place and it unfortunately soon became very clear why as soon as my first encounter at check-in. We checked in on the app at 11am and booked a designer suite. When we arrived at 12pm, the suite wasn't ready and Mr. Samer from the reception desk seemed absolutely cool about it as if it is the norm there! He thankfully gave us a brief tour around the hotel where he should us the 2 swimming pools. Then tried to trick me into giving up my welcome gift (usually used for points) for breakfast!! For those who don't know, as a Titanium member you have free lounge access for breakfast and dinner at the lounge (not the main restaurant). In case you are staying at a resort or a hotel without a lounge, you get free breakfast at the main restaurant as a replacement and no dinner. This has nothing to do with your welcome gift which you can choose for 1,000 points. What Mr. Samer was trying to do here was simply cut some of my benefits. Not cool! The hotel in general has no appreciation for Marriott loyalty, you might as well through it in the bin before going to this hotel! My biggest disappointment came as we were offered our suite late and with the worst view the hotel has to offer!! The hotel staff are very well aware of the rooms/ suites facing the nice views. We asked repeatedly on the first day to find an alternative, but the responses were very indifferent. We only stayed for 2 nights, and after nagging with the reception staff for many times, they offered us another room with a separate view, but this was on our second night during the second half of the day. So we were not going to enjoy the view in the evening hours, then leaving early the day. I do however appreciate the attempt even if it was too late. I would have expected the reservations/ operations team to address this issue from the start, unless the hotel was full of Lifetime Marriott members. Im a Lifetime Titanium Member and as far as I know, we are treated as VIPs and each hotel Ive stayed at has tried to go the extra mile in appreciation for loyalty. This is the first hotel that I have seen with such poor appreciation of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. On a good note, the views from the hotel are great if you stay at the pool bar. Also there are nice restaurants and cafes within a 10-15 minute walking distance. The waiters Paul, Pamela and Firas from the pool bar were very friendly. The hotel has 2 pools. The first is an indoor heated pool which I do not recommend for couples. The chlorine smell is too much and was filled with kids having swimming lessons. The second pool which is the main pool next to the pool bar has wonderful views. Unfortunately, the water is very cold, so people go in for 10-20 minutes then up again. There are also 2 jacuzzies in the main pool, however both of which were without water! The pool area is un-serviced! There is no towel booth and you need to go to the pool bar to find a waiter to order from. This is because this hotel is very much under-staffed, so they decided to have the main pool area un-serviced altogether! Another example to show how this hotel is under-staffed was the reception desk where there is between 1-2 people who are responsible for reception, concierge, reservation and answering the phone (at your service button)! Last but not least, the bathroom shower has filthy with mold (please see pictures) and the hotels were off-white rather than white. In conclusion, this hotel has great potential as one of the best hotels in the region, but I believe they need to put some serious effort on some points in order to be a true luxury hotel.

Grand HillsWent there over the weekend. Very well appointed hotel rooms (you feel it is a grandiose hotel even though some might not like this kind of furniture). Toiletries not made in China. Nice swimming pool and nice mountain views. Rich Lebanese breakfast with high quality food and wide choice variety. Only drawback - towels need replacement. Overall, recommended hotel.

Average hotelBest thing about this hotel is the views of the mountains. The service is the worst I have experienced in a hotel. totally understaffed. I stayed there for a week and never had I received my breakfast in less than 1 hour, hotel drivers take 20-30 mins to arrive, house keeping staff are the worst cleaners. No recognition of Marriott loyalty program at all.

Spend a weekendWe spend a family weekend in the Grand Hills Hotel in Broummana and we would like to share our experiance. The hotel has a perfect location to refill the batteries of life. Relaxation pur once you arrive. The panarama view is breath taking. The checkin process was excellent and we were very please to get an uprade into 2 lovely suites. The design of suites matches excellet into the overall design of the hotel. The rooms were very big and well equipped. Everything in our rooms functions and made our life enjoyable. The hotel has an outdoor and indoor pool. I went to the gym and I was surpised about the size and numbers of equipment, beside there are also squash courts available. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is execellent and the hotel staffs are very friendy and alway willing to help. We didint use any hotel restaurant, but I assume that they are great too. Overall we have to say it, we spent a brilliant weekend at the Grand Hills Hotel!
