  Great Food

  Went for a meal at the Guildhall on Saturday with my partner and it was very enjoyable. Great food and good portion sizes. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Impressed by the measures that have been put in place for Covid-19.

  Good value for money hotel

  Nice hotel, very friendly staff and dog friendly in the rooms and bar area. We ate dinner at the hotel both nights, food was excellent pub food and the food came quickly. Room was quite big, freshly decorated but still with a B&B feel. Comfy bed and clean throughout. A nice hotel if wanting to visit North Wales.

  Attentive staff, great pub food.

  Although only a short walk walk away, the Guildhall wasnt on our original list. After the planned options were fully booked (Eat Out to Help Out scheme, I guess) the Guildhall had space. I was concerned that they may be squeezing us in, but actually on arrival, they were the most stringent on social distancing measures and contact tracing we have seen. Very polite staff who were making sure we were happy at each stage. A little chatter about the beers that were on tap was nice and showed the place cared about what they serve. Really clean and pleasant environment to be in. The wife had a healthy oven-baked cod with boiled potatoes and a great sauce whilst the rest of us had burgers; chicken for the youngest off the kids menu and beef for me and the eldest. All were well-cooked, well-presented and filling, very filling. The onion rings were really good. Perhaps a wider variety of draught beers wouldve been nice, but thats being picky. Overall, highly recommended.

  Lovely place to stay

  We stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. Very comfy bed, very quiet, staff really helpful and friendly, good variety of drinks, full Welsh breakfast and the deserts are amazing! It was a surprise weekend for my pattern on our anniversary and it was worth it. We will be back and thank you for the Borghetti, i am now a fan! Thank you to all the team and the manager/ owner who made us feel very welcome! See you soon!

  We had a lovely couple of days here. Very friendly people nothing was too much trouble. Our room had everything we needed. Beautiful old building with lots of character. Our evening meal was very nice & extra praise for the cooked breakfast it was extremely tasty. Would highly recommend staying here & we will definitely go back.
