  Excelente calidad

  Estuve alojado mientras asistia al PDP de Cornell, anteriormente estuve en el Statler, pero este hotel me sorprendió de muchas maneras, la ubicación muy buena, la calidad del servicio y la sonrisa de su personal hacen la diferencia, tuve un problema con mi TC y la Gerencia fue muy empatica y dio soluciones inmediatas.

  Fantastic hotel

  We stayed on a Saturday night at this hotel in Ithaca. What a wonderful stay. The staff was outstanding and so was the room. Very clean and you felt safe on the newly renovated 9th floor. (great security on the elevator). Pool was good and the breakfast staff person on duty Sunday was phenomenal. I definitely recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

  Great hotel, a few issues

  Stayed here for a short one night stay to check out the Cornell campus. The free parking and indoor pool & jacuzzi were main reasons we chose this property. Overall our stay was great: the location was perfect, the entire place was very modern and clean, and the staff at the desk was super friendly and helpful (the young black haired guy that did our evening check-in was worth noting as exceptionally friendly and helpful, but I unfortunately neglected to get his name). The pool & jacuzzi were amazing after a long day of walking. And we also were given a 3pm checkout which was very nice for coming back for a quick shower before departing. That said, however, we did have a few issues with this place worthy of noting. -First, despite the place being likely 90% empty, we were given no upgrade at all, and the room that we did get was noticeably small and rather spartan. Now I'm not even sure that space available upgrades are a stated benefit for Hhonors gold elites at HGI, but when a hotel is so empty, it just makes good business sense to upgrade your elites. It doesn't cost the hotel anything and it makes your most valuable customers happy. So in my eyes, that should be an automatic thing. -And second, while the breakfast was great, the waitress was angry and hostile. Perhaps she was annoyed that she had to be the waitress, cook, and hostess; or maybe she was just annoyed that we showed up 20 minutes before breakfast ended. It doesn't matter what was under her skin, she was unpleasant and unprofessional. When she slammed our coffee mugs down in front of us my wife got so angry she told me we needed to walk out. But I was starving, so I made her stay, and I'm glad I did because the omelet that lady made was probably the best I've had in years. A great cook, but a lousy waitress. In the end, we really liked the hotel and the pool/jacuzzi in particular. We would certainly recommend it and will likely stay here again in the future.

  Weekend Stay

  The rooms and public areas are very clean. The staff could not be nicer and more helpful. The location could not be more convenient, right off the Commons. Parked my car and did not need it again until I checked out. I will be back.

  Looks amazing

  I have always enjoyed the staff and service at the HGI Ithaca. The renovation is outstanding! Loved the new look of my room. Desk staff is friendly and efficient breakfast omelets are delicious and the Irish pub has a homey feel and terrific food. Highly recommend this hotel
