  Bastantes fallos

  Las habitaciones están bien, el baño es antiguo y tiene rota la bañera. Lo peor fue que se les olvidó hacer la habitación un día y cuando regresamos al hotel sobre las 8 de la noche no había nadie para hacerla. No me dieron ninguna solución.

  Not good

  Not impressed with my stay. The trashcan outside the side entrance was overflowing when I arrived. The hallway smelled terrible and the second day there was a large bag of trash left in the hallway for over 8 hours. Not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel.

  I expected better, cleaning was very poor

  I was there on business; location was perfect for parking and moving around with the car. But the hotel is old, needs renovation and in the floors I had the feeling I was in "The Shining". Complimentary services are offered, outdoors is great, not so bad for staying few nights for business. But the bed part is that coming back in the evening, I was finding in the room either dirty towels still on the floor and the wrapping paper of the snacks of the cleaning staff!!

  What Happened?!?!

  We choose this hotel because its close to our friends home as well as the race track as we come down yearly for the Chili Bowl. This year I was stunned by the condition the hotel is in. I am a current GM that has worked for both Hilton and currently Marriott through the pandemic. I was stunned by the lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The elevator was caked with finger prints, caulking and repairs in our bathroom were quickly done, wallpaper peeling. Trash outside and in. And for a pet friendly hotel there was poo everywhere you walked outside as there were no bags. I know more than anyone of the trying times we in the hotel industry are facing during this unprecedented times but it should never cost you the integrity of your hotel and work space.

  Poor organization and cleaning

  I was in town for a funeral and booked the room several days ahead, as did several of my family members. The night I called to book the room, the clerk was overwhelmed with the phones ringing, had every line on hold (he said) and I ended up booking online. Saturday evening when I arrived around 6:30, my room still wasn't ready and the had trouble finding housekeeping to finish cleaning. The clerk was very apologetic and appeared to do all she could. When I got to the room, the dishwasher was running (which was very loud) , the floors were dirty, hair in the corner of the bathroom, visible trash on the kitchen and bathroom floors. You could see half hearted attempt at wiping down the tables, there was visible dust on the lamps at the on off switch. There was a big buildup of some thing on the hinge of the shower door. When my nephew checked in to his room, there was someone else already occupying his room. The layout of the room was nice and I appreciated the free wifi.
