  Charming hotel, warm welcome, good service

  Me and my collegues stayed in this hotel during a fair we had in Hannover. The rooms were somewhat old, but very clean, and everything you would beed for a comfortable stay. Service was excellent and the place has an excellent restaurant. breakfast was enourous in choice, and everything I could wish for, with even their own local sekt (champagne) you could try. I would recommand it, and certainly go back.

  Experience the warmth

  This is nice little Hotel in the Salzgitter region near Hanover in Germany.The city is Salzgitter but it is actually a region and made up of several little towns/villages. This Hotel is more like an inn but very comfortable with all thefacilities a 5 Star Htel can provide for a very reasonable price. The best wifi system I have seen is in this Hotel since the TV set is interfaced with wifi and you can watch and surf internet on your TV. The bed was though very hard. When we arrived it was 3 PM and the restaurant was closed. The manager advised us to go to ALDI supermarket which is a walking distance and buy some sandwiches. We bought some Pizza Rolls to eat and asked for a beer. The Manager noticed that what we had bought something which needed to be baked and eaten (German Language on the parcel) and she was very kind to bake it for us and serve as if it was made in their own restaurant. Full of hospitality. The restaurant is so nice that one would feel like eating here even though not hungry and keep sitting here sipping local beer.The food in the restaurant was great. The breakfast was grand and sumptuous . Highly recommended.

  Offers less than what it says it does

  Bad : Old furniture, small room, there is an automatic ventilator in the shower/bathroom that remains running too much after the light was turned off. The colour of the utilities from the bathroom (sink, shower tub, toilet) is ugly (milk-coffee like). Everywhere it is shown as a 3 stars hotel but it looks more like a pension all-in-all. There is certificate showing the grating of the 3 stars that were valid up to 2008. Afterwards nothing. In the booking offer was presented with gym but there was none. When we asked about it no one knew. There is no minibar. On the last day we said we will leave at 12. I was in the room at 10:00 with no shirt on, packing. Somebody knocks at the doors and at the same moment openes it. I guees she had they key already in the lock. She appologised and closed the door. Most of the staff does not speak English nor understands it. Good: The staff in general is very kind, they smile alot, eager to help. It is kept very clean, the carpet looks good, clean. They offer free bicycles. Good food at breakfast.

  A good Hotel friendly staff and very good breakfast.

  Breakfast was great , Rooms are neat and tidy and always clean. A little far from town if walking , food was okay very friendly staff always willing to help. Overall a good hotel for a couple of nights but could be difficult to be staying for longer periods. Would like to see more on the restaurant menus for supper in the evenings.

  Bien

  Hemos estado alojados un grupo de trabajo, donde nos hemos encontrado muy cómodos. Hotel tradicional donde las habitaciones son pequeñas , pero funcionales. Desayuno buffet, muy bien con bastante variedad de fruta fresca, lo cual agradezco enormemente! Restaurante con platos tradicionales correcto! Y personal amable. Si llegas tarde (las 23.00) te dejan las llaves en una cajita en el exterior. Pero BIEN.
