  Wonderful place to relax

  The historic building from 1597 has been modernized with great taste and care, fully respecting its history and preserving its unique charm. Jill and Alex are wonderful hosts and so are the other employees. It feels like staying in a friends house rather than being in a hotel. The perfect hideaway for a couple of relaxing days. We were a group of four friends. Our two rooms were spacious, nicely furnished, very clean and the bathroom and shower provided exactly what we needed. At least one other room we saw was exactly the same, if not better. A nice garden and a small pool offer places to relax throughout the day. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Perfectly maintained Mountainbikes and Skateboards are free to use. E-Bikes, Standup-Paddeling boards and Surfboards are available for a small daily fee. In case you head out for a day at the beach, you get beach towels and a sunshade for free which we found very useful. It is located about 5km out of Felanitx. There is not much around and I would recommend having a car to be able to easily move to the surrounding villages and to the beaches. The breakfast is outstanding. Dinner is amazing, too. Cooked by Belen with love from market-fresh ingredients with a focus on local mallorquin food. Delicious vegan menus are also offered. Breakfast and dinner are served on a large table and we did eat with the other guest. In case you would prefer to be on your own, you can always have a separated table. We came to Lazy Finca to spend some relaxed days in a quiet atmosphere. We found the house exactly as described on the website, and being there was even better as expected. I can definitely recommend it and to me it was a great value for the money. I would anytime consider coming back. Having read the previous reviews, I would like to add a comment. Some of the mentioned negative sides or shortcomings were exactly the reason why we had picked the Lazy Finca (small hotel, remote location, not overdesigned). We did not expect a boutique hotel in a lively environment, with full 24/7 service, olympic-size pool, spa and all the other amenities you can think of. If you look for such a place, then Lazy Finca might not be your preferred choice. We actually loved the place and as said, we felt like staying at a friends house and enjoyed our time there a lot!

  Isolated but lots of rustic charm

  We stayed here for a wedding being held at the Finca. The whole place was steeped in charm, dating back to 1500s it comprises of the main building where most of the bedrooms are situated and another small block of three rooms across the road. We stayed there at beginning of May so out of season for Majorca. The hosts were lovely and were really helpful in explaining about the towns we could get to. Public transport is only available from Fenantix. You need transport if you want get go anywhere as the nearest town is 15/20 minutes drive away. The breakfast was basic but good with fresh bread, meats, cheeses etc. There is a help your self drinks fridge and a kettle to make your own drinks and an honesty board to mark down which drinks youve had. We had tapas and brownies, all freshly prepared and amazing, and the wedding dinner, a BBQ with three different meats and salad and bread etc. Our room was a triple, and although very spacious lacked practical furniture, such as dressing table or full length mirror which proved tricky when getting ready for the wedding. It was also quite dark as there was only a small window, but as we only spent time in there at night this did not pose an issue. We were quite cold at night but because of the small window there was no sunlight entering the room and the weather was not hot. We saw some of the other rooms, all similar size and adequate for needs. We did not use the pool as it was too cold but there were a few comfortable sunbeds dotted around for when the sun came out. We visited Portocolom, a small fishing village with a great restaurant called S'Arenal on the beach, a 20 mins drive away which in low season is well worth a visit. There are many cyclists around the area and they called in to the cafe which was part of the Finca. They also do yoga but we did not partake.

  Excelente!!

  Todo muy bien, habitaciones, servicio, desayuno!! Gente muy amable y trato excelente. Clases de yoga por la mañana y opciones veganas y vegetarianas. El mejor lugar para quien busca tranquilidad y armonía en Mallorca. Volvería 100%

  Beautiful and layed back Finca

  Beautiful Finca with a really cool concept. You can have really good dinner at the Finca. While eating youre sitting at a big table with the other guests. Its such an easy-going and chill atmosphere. Because the house is very old, the rooms are not very soundproofed. If you have loud neighbors you can here everything. Besides that everything else was just perfect. You can easily get to all the beautiful beaches and cities in about 20-30 minutes. Jill and Alex are very friendly and helpful. They have awesome restaurant and beach recommendations, also you can book different tours via them. We can definitely recommend Lazy Finca.
