  Bonitos Apartamentos Modernos

  Reservamos el apartamento de dos habitaciones deluxe, la localizacion muy buena, los apartamentos estan en el barrio de al ghubra cerca de al khuwair, la atención muy buena. Shehab ha sido atento y simpático. Muscat es un buen destino para cambiar de aires. Pagué unos 130 euros por noche.

  Good Hotel to stay while Covid-19

  Excellent Hotel, with good location and connected to a Mall. in the Heart of Muscat. you can cook your own food, no need for any restaurant to go to. As it is the best thing to do for your self in the current situation of the COVID-19. even you can wash your own cloth, no need to go to laundry too. as you have to keep distance keep safe be away ; )

  Clean room nice staff but...

  Stayed here for 2 weeks during my return to Oman in quarantine, this is my second time staying here. Firstly - staff are lovely, very helpful! special mention for reception, concierge and IT teams for helping to make my stay comfortable. Secondly - the whole place is spotless very clean! However, as part of the room my meals are provided to the room these are meant to reflect your nationality. Im British and I just dont see the connection between my nationality and the meals provided. There are some pictures below of the meals. But to review some of them this is how I would describe them. Breakfast: Stale bread and donut with an oil soaked Indian flat bread followed by a cold plain dry serving of American pancake and an omelette and 2 boiled eggs. Side dish of curried potatoes and what I can only describe is rice pudding? With a Carton of fruit juice. Lunch / Dinner: Some sort of a salad (some better than others) A family portion of rice or rice with some spaghetti thrown in for a bit of an Italian look or pasta. Topped with bone with a scraping of chicken attached or beef usually covered in spice and chilli. To be topped with a sauce either a curry sauce, white sauce with tinned mushrooms or a sauce designed to look like a Italian tomatoe sauce but is actually a hot and spicy curry sauce. But usually a Curry sauce. A side portion of more of the same rice or pasta or rarely some over cooked fried chips with the remaining oil available to be squeezed out to taste. Usually a dessert that Ive eaten every day usually reasonably tasty. I complained once about the food, the manager at the time was straight on the phone to the outsourced restaurant Mr Buffet to complain but obviously they cant check every meal coming in. Ive purchased my own breakfast from the supermarket and spent most nights ordering my own meal in. In my opinion any westerner my recommendation is to not pay for food from the hotel and to arrange your own. Another 6 days remaining of my stay, hopefully this post will change the meals supplied for me and any other westerners.

  My stay at sommerset

  Tho just overnight, the place was up to my expectations, helpful filipino staff, clean rooms and crisp linens. Location was at the center of where i needed to be and needed to go. If given the chance, would go back

  My stay at Somerset - Fantastic

  A good place to stay in - Nice and properly prepared property, but for meals it is not covered 24 hours at the day, as i arrived at 1:30 AM but no meals was available, the facilities are also nice....
