  Good stay expansive food

  Spa room is very neat clean and roomy, staff is very polite and eager to help with any assistance required, Restaurant not open every day, only beginning and mid week, the fish is average compared to the local surrounds, and most dishes are expensive. As a review on the rooms and staff very good

  Mixed feelings

  We stayed in one of the 'Townhouses' - 3 Bedroom, 1.5 Bathrooms, Garage Parking. Very nicely presented, well maintained & comfortable. Serviced daily & contained the basic furnishings. Things to love: - convenient location, short walk to town centre - good size room & nice decor - courtyard - air-conditioned - lock-up garage - internal laundry with powder supplied - dishwasher with powder supplied Things to dislike: - very noisey at night being alongside the Pacific Highway - very noisey at night being alongside a park - courtyard faced construction site - had to ask for extra towels, only 1 standard size provided per person - towels nor linen changed during our 5 Night stay without request - very narrow garage, one of our cars couldn't fit in it - no remote for the garage roller door, could only open from inside

  Clean and spacious but no hot water

  We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and it was very clean and plenty of space for the whole family! Unfortunately there wasnt enough hot water for the whole family though. After 2 of us had showers (1 was just cool water) and the next person went to have a shower but had the hot water run out on them, we called reception to ask how this could happen after only 2 people had showered. They said it must have ran out earlier in the day before we had arrived and that they couldnt do anything about it. This was disappointing however we still enjoyed our stay.

  Pleasant enough.

  We had a pleasant two night stay in a three bedroom townhouse. The townhouse was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Location was a 5-10 minute walk to a street full of restaurants and a supermarket - but quite a ways (too far to walk) to the other main restaurant area at the jetty. We did use both the pool and the gym - both are small and basic, but pleasant and clean and served their purposes. There is a tiny little bar area in the lobby that seats about ten people, and we enjoyed having a local beer there after hanging out by the pool. You can also get nice coffees at the bar. We didnt try the restaurant, electing to instead go to an Ethiopian restaurant one night, and a Mexican restaurant the other. The three bedroom townhouse only had one full bathroom, so a bit difficult for five or six adults. There was also a toilet downstairs - but no hand soap for the laundry sink next to the toilet room. There should be a hand soap dispenser there for hygiene purposes. The provided garage is tiny, with an awkward arch in the garage door opening. Our average sized car with roof racks wouldnt fit in it. The lounge room only had a three seater couch, and no other seating other than kitchen chairs. There should be comfy seating for six people, since the apartment is to accommodate six. In hindsight, I probably should have booked two hotel rooms instead of the three bedroom townhouse - this would have given us two full bathrooms and normal, more user friendly parking spaces.

  Clean & tidy but a little noisy

  Close to everything you need, we stayed overnight on the way through town. Clean rooms and a hot shower. A little bit noisy with the traffic but definitely something that comes with the location when it is the main thoroughfare through town. Cleaner appears to start early and likes the three knock alert when checking if rooms are empty. Woke us up at 7am on a Saturday and it appeared like it would never end no matter how far away they got. Staff were friendly when we dealt with them. Bed is on the firmer (hard) side.
