  Nice Hotel

  Beds were super comfy. Like snuggling into my bed at home. This Hotel is in the middle of everywhere you need to go and be. Like literally a 15 minute drive from the mall and from this bouncy place. It's close to Plauto's Closet and some good restaurants too. No more than a 15 min drive!!

  Under new management which is not up to Marriott standards. Needs upgrade. Needs better outside maintenance. Friendly helpful front desk personnel. Breakfast staff and Happy Hour excellent. Inconsistent housekeeping.

  Just ok, would not stay again

  There were a couple of items. The walkway to rooms on first floor always smelled like smoke. Our room smelled like smoke, but they gave us a new room. We had 2 bedroom, king size bed room and then queen in the other. The bigger bathroom was with queen size bed sadly. Mattress of couch was dirty. Needs renodeled. You can hear anyone walking above you. The worst part was we got a knock at 845am as we are packing and showering and getting ready. It was a housekeepe asking when should she clean the room. My reply, we are leaving today. Yes when are you leaving so I don't have to keep coming back checking. So rude. I am not sure how other hotels do it, but I assume they wait until you check out. There was always tons of carts in the main hallway because that is where the main housekeeping room is, so you could barely make it through if you had trolley or stroller. The only good was breakfast area. Super nice people working and good variety. There is Fairfield nearby....will try there next time.

  Needs updating

  I stayed here despite questionable reviews as I needed a place with kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms. The first room we entered smelled funky...Smokey. When I approached the front desk they tried to dismiss it saying they were a non-smoking facility. However, others in my party smelled it also. Front desk then agreed to let me enter a different room to compare. There was a definite difference in air quality. We then switched rooms. While the room appeared clean, it was definitely worn and dated. Carpet had tears and stains. Bathroom grout was dingy. They do offer nice afternoon drinks and appetizers on some days. There is an outdoor area and fire pit. Breakfast buffet was average. I hope they renovate soon, as this is the only place that offers these types of rooms.

  Pool party

  I would like to start by saying, I have used trip advisor reviews for countless trips to hotels to find the right one. I have never felt compelled to leave a comment until now. My wife and I traveled to FW from Indy area with our two younger kids to relax in a nicer pool with our kids. We purposely spent extra money to find a hotel with a hot tub and to avoid alot of groups. We found Residents Inn by Marriott in FW. Their website stated "absolutely no parties on site." During check in we were forced to sign a statement that we would not host parties. It also stated that a 250.00 dollar fine would be imposed if we did. We were excited to relax and let our kids swim. We promptly suited up and headed to the pool. There were 10 kids in the pool. It was not a big deal until we noticed the situation. 10 kids from ages 3-16. No adults at all. There were two 3 year olds that could not swim at all but were running around the pool and jumping in and the older kids had to keep jumping in to get them. One little girl was in street clothes and another 10 year old girl was shirtless with Jean shorts. They were using the handicap lift as a diving board for the pool and the hot tub as a diving hole. They used every single pool towel then proceeded to take ours from our chair. We notified the front desk as we left. They said they would take care of it. That evening after dinner, we returned to the pool only to find the same group of kids along with several adults. The entire pool area was consumed with this group/ family for a birthday party in the pool area. Therefore. Swimming was not an option. My kids were disappointed. The office was again notified and our room for the night was discounted 50%. It was all good. Until we returned to the pool after breakfast the next morning... same group. no adults, crazy obnoxious behavior except these kids knew we were the ones that complained the day earlier. So now they purposely jumped in and slash us in the pool. We moved to the hot tub and they followed us. My 4 and 6 year old, my wife were harassed by these kids. We were forced to vacate the pool area...again very disappointed kids. One girl clapped and cheered as we left the pool. My family was quiet and respectful the entire time. After signing the no party policy at check in, we felt cheated, robbed, and let down by staff and guest of this hotel. We ended up with 2 disappointed kids and our weekend fun was ruined.
