Wonderfull location! We stayed in one bedroom apartment!(one of the seven buildings). The swimming pool is located in the main building. The resort bus is running since 8.00 am. Sherpa shop (grocery shop) is located at the bottom of the hill. Same as ski rental shop and gondola. There are nice traditional restaurants in the resort. On Fridays in the centre of town is The market (lots of traditional food).

Excellent resort and location, accomodation ok.We stayed in an apartment for 6 and are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. The size of the apartment was perfect and we had a separate shower room, bathroom and 1 toilet. The bed in the main bedroom was firm but that is how we like it so was good for us. The twin room beds are only small and our older daughter complained they were not that comfortable, Our younger daughter choose to sleep in the living room on the pull out bed and she said that that was much more comfortable and was of a larger size. There is also a lot of storage in these apartments, which is a little unusual for ski accommodation. The only problem we had with the accommodation is that it wasn't very clean when we arrived. A lot of the crockery was dirty but we did find that the dishwasher wasn't very effective. The walls are also in desperate need of a paint as our daughter complained about the blood and bogeys on the wall near her bed. The shower also needs some maintenance. But this didn't spoil our stay as we cleaned things as we found them and felt that we left the apartment much cleaner than we found it. The ski bus that serves the apartments is excellent and runs continuously throughout the day. Sometimes it is full at the bottom but you don't have to wait long for its return I think that there are 2 buses running most of the time. The buses also make regular stops close to all the apartment blocks in the area. Valloire is a lovely village with lots of nice restaurants and a few shops. The supermarkets are also well stocked for people choosing to self cater.

Great place to stay, very picturesque villageVery well set up chalet apartments - 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room & separate toilet. Kitchen/Lounge/Dining Area. Balcony. Main Chalet has swimming pool and sauna. Sits half a mile up the mountain and it's ski in ski out - snow permitting. Lovely, friendly village - very French. Very helpful reception team when you check in.

Great location but poorly thought out accommodationAs a ski resort Valloire is great, somewhere we have been coming for many years. However, the apartment accommodation is poor. The design of the apartments can only really be described as rubbish and the quality of furnishings and crockery is just about average. But there is a captive market so I don't thing the owners care too much. The lighting in the front room is not really sufficient for cooking and the sharp knife had no handle. The double bed that pulled out in the front room was very rickety and my son fell through the gap. The bunks were fine. The tiny double bed in the main bedroom was squashed between two wardrobes, so no bedside tables. The sockets were next to the wardrobe so if you had something plugged in you couldn't open the door! I could go on, but life is too short....

Beautiful apartment near telecabineLiving area sufficiënt for 9 person, apartment had view on sloap and telecabine to enter ski area was easy to reach. Beds were comfortable and long enough which is not always the case in French apartments.
