  Fantastic weekend

  Just spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful hotel. Great setting. Met on arrival by very friendly staff. Room was very clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilities ..replenished daily. Food was amazing. Really could not fault it. Breakfast set you up for the day with plenty to choose from. Dinner choices were varied and really lovely. The waiting staff were attentive and very friendly. We had entertainment on the two evenings and they were great and did make us all laugh, where apt. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to return with hubby as close to coastal walks and will be a good base.

  Sunny weekend

  Have just come back from a wonderful weekend in this lovely hotel. From the minute of arrival the staff were very attentive. Rooms were very clean and cosy. Evening entertainment very good. Food was excellent at every meal. Very good value and would highly recommend this hotel which is only a short walk from a small beach and not far to walk into Torquay. Well done.

  Brilliant

  I have just spent the weekend at this hotel - highly recommend - food was outstanding, service great and amazing value for money. Entertainment was very good. Lovely walk down to the local beach. You can walk into the town and then get a bus or taxi back Thank you

  Girls weekend away

  We went on a package weekend £120 each for 2 nights. This included breakfasts, dinners, entertainment and Sunday lunch. The staff were friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the food amazing! Well worth it, we would definitely go again. Its also in an ideal location for visiting other lovely places, like Dartmouth.

  This hotel is ok

  This hotel is ok. The restaurant prepares and serves nice meals which are well presented. The staff in general are nice friendly people. Bedroom 26 isnt the nicest. Its on the ground floor (which may suit some people),and doesnt have a view, except of the car parked in front of your window. Its not a bad room. Just no view. We enjoyed the evening entertainment and the location is handy, with a bus stop just outside the entrance. My tip would be to check in before the choice of room is limited to whats left. Or to get the room number confirmed before booking.
