  customer was great. room service was superb location is ideal for relaxing. needs to increase additional breakfast (food) options. room locks needs to be replaced to assure customers that they are ADDITIONAL SAFE.

  Terrible restaurant service

  The restaurant service is slow. Drinks arrived 10min after the food and so did the condiments, ruining the dining experience. The sea food platter was bland. For the prices charged, one would expect a better dining experience.

  Amazing Resort & Staff!

  It was a great decision when we choose this particular Resort. We travelled with our kids and 1 must say the Resort made our lives easy during the entire trip from uk to Sierra Leone. The person I admire so much with regards to his professional performance is the young gentle man at the Reception he made my stay special as he was very proactive and did all necessary task in time, I promise him a gift on my next visit by next year, kindly extend my lovely greetings to him. Its was indeed a home away from home. See you sometime next year.

  Fantastic ambience, pleasant and helpful staff who are willing to be of service to make your stay comfortable, excellent food and an altogether beautiful atmosphere. You are sure to get the rest and calmness you seek in a peaceful atmosphere by the beach when you come to THE PLACE

  Best beach resort in Sierra Leone, great value for money.

  The Place is hands down the best beach resort in Sierra Leone. The management over the last years has improved a lot, they are very responsive and professional. Service the same - professional, fast, responsive, friendly. The menu is changing ever so slightly, so that regulars dont get bored. The Indian food is the best in country - and the breakfast buffet is also one of the best I have seen in Sierra Leone. The selection of teas is fantastic. It is a bit more expensive than other beach places, but honestly - you get so much more for your money. Time really stands still and you will return to your everyday life feeling like you had a proper holiday. We also tried the jetskiing and enjoyed that, as well as the outdoor gym - beautiful scenery to exercise. We went with a 1-year-old, and the setup of the bungalow makes it perfect for us to still have nice dinners, while the baby sleeps and to hang out on the veranda while the baby plays inside. The sand is clear and cleaned everyday, free of any sharp objects. They even clean the signs every day - the Place is sparkling clean. If you can, take a beachfront bungalow - as far as I know, this is the only place in Salone where you are right on the beach but can be sitting in agreeable ACed rooms! (Worked great for me when I was pregnant and too hot all the time...) Just go and you wont regret it at all.
