  Improved massively!

  This hotel has improved immensely from my last stay there in 2017. I was hesitant about staying but was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful, overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay! Would absolutely recommend.

  Lovely and clean

  Would definetly come back. Clean, friendly and comfortable beds. Very professional. Food is okay, nothing posh but does the job. Go out their way to meet your needs and to that I'm very grateful. I have another stay planned for when I visit my family again so will be back.

  Love staying here when visiting Seaham superb rooms and professional staff travel lodge spotlessly clean

  Stayed at the Travelodge Sunderland high street west on Sunday the 30th of august and what a wonderful stay we had from start to finish.we where met by Angela who was on the reception desk when we arrived and gave us both a very friendly welcome. and was extremely polite and very helpful to us, a real asset to the company. The Travelodge was spotless clean and the room was perfect for us. We have stayed here a few times and could not fault this Travelodge at all in any way it is in a perfect location and we love staying here when visiting seaham we will be certainly be staying here again. A big thank you for making us feel very welcome and for a wonderful stay.

  Walking distance from station

  Not far from the station found the hotel without a problem. Easy check in told if I needed anything to go to the reception ie tea, coffee, milk as there was no housekeeping. Because of the virus nobody else went into my room till I checked out so I felt safe. Plastic chair and wipe down surface so no germs. Large room 302 on the 3rd floor double bed, shower is in the bath bit of a step to get in thankfully there are grab rails as when you step out its a larger step out. If you have problems getting in and out maybe just a walk in shower might be better

  Always a great stay

  I stayed for four nights at the end of August. I had a lovely room, clean and well kept as usual. Cleaners are not entering your room during your stay but if you need anything reception are always happy to help. There's always extra tea and coffee available too! I suffered a random banging noise in or above my room on my second night that I could not locate where it came from but reception were able to move me straight away without bother.
