  I was travelling thru from fort st. John and decided to stay at this hotel as i was fatigued from my drive. To my surprise the room had a 50" tv with sateillte (which was nice because these type of places normally have basic cable). The bed was quite comfortable and the room was clean. I would definitley stay here again!

  Better than I had expected.

  I was too tired to finish the drive to Grande Prairie so felt it more prudent to bunk down early and start fresh the next morning. This was the first property I passed when I turned onto the side road so I pulled up in front. I needed a ground floor room as I had work to do on my presentation and the cases are bulky and heavy if they need to be lugged up a set of stairs. All they had on the ground was a unit with kitchen but they offered it to me for the regular price of a single. Thanks, I appreciated that. The room was huge and I admit I was intrigued that in addition to the refrigerator with the kitchen, there was also a large chest freezer? It took a bit of fiddling to figure out the two remote control units but perseverance finally paid off. I had a great sleep though I admit to dreaming about opening the freezer to find a gutted moose. No, just a dream. There is a restaurant on the property and although breakfast was included, I passed and decided to snag something at the Crooked Creek Country Store. The room was clean and the sleep sound. That was exactly what I was looking for.

  Not cool

  Was very bluntly told that even if my family checks in at 10am, we have to checkout at 11am, THAT SAME DAY! (The reason given was housekeepers start cleaning at 9am) check in after 11? No, because check in starts at 3pm. New hire working desk alone or something? Very disappointed and heading to grand prairie because everywhere else is full

  Top Stop in Valleyview

  This hotel is newly renovated and has great features! The beds are new, the showers have great water pressure, the whole parking lot is well lit and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The best part is the best restaurant in town is in the parking lot.

  Newly renovated - great value

  The Western Valley Inn is a very good Highway Motel. The property is newly renovated, clean and well appointed. It has easy access from the highway but is set back far enough that noise is not a problem. My wife and I spent one night here recently and found the staff to be very responsive and the great value included a full hot breakfast. Good COVID protocols in place. We would definitely stay here again.
