  Overpowering chemicals

  I completely understand that cleaning is paramount but the over use of Glen 20 is overpowering. It is used everywhere in the hotel to the point I could not breath. I was unable to stay there. The next hotel I was able to go to was $40 more than this one.Not happy. Please remember that toxic chemicals can caused to major allergic reactions - I am lucky I did not end up in hospital. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here for the foreseeable future.

  NOISY Road, never go there again

  If you don't want to sleep, PICK this hotel, No tea coffee etc. No shampoo's, Reception guy said due to Corona Virus no tea coffe etc & no Breakfast of any kind available. I said -is any available and he gave me a brown paper back with the Basic's (very poor) In this bag was paper cups, icecream sticks for spoons, I don't think he would of given me this if I didn't ask. HE was good in giving us directions for a nice place to have dinner. Otherwise Very POOR service. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We hardly sleep as the Road noise was over the top. Left early as we were awake nearly all night. PS we stayed elsewhere on our return - Dinner sets, cutlery, Breakfast to our room. Tea Coffe with real cups, Bathroom bits n pieces. HUGE difference between the 2 places.

  Very budget ...

  It is budget accomodation so that's really what you're getting. The room felt like a fancy jail cell to be honest. If you're looking for a quick overnight stay then go for it but wouldn't stay for anything more than that. it gets depressing. also very thin walls so you will hear everything going on in the halls, reception and other rooms. If you want something cheap it's not thattttt bad.

  Cheap overnight option

  We needed a cheap overnight stay while on the road. The room was clean, basic, quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was a capsule type Ibis bathroom with plenty of hot water and little room to move. The young lady on the reception desk was delighful and very helpful. Top marks to Ibis for employing her. The room was basic budget and value for money.

  Don't stay more than one night !

  We arrived back at our room late afternoon to find no housekeeping had been done and wet towels in the bathroom. A compliant to reception resulted in them telling us they no longer do housekeeping during guests stay. Followed by a vague "it's the law" and " it's covid". Probably best to only stay here one night or just book somewhere else. Otherwise rooms are clean but small and like many budget ibis hotels the bathroom had a habit of flooding the room. Not a place we will come back to.
