  I stayed at the Abakan hotel for 8 weeks and found it ok but very much in need of renovation the rooms are good sized and are cleaned Daily but not that well as this bald reviewer constantly found long dark hairs in the room. The staff are great especially Olga who was very helpfull when we had problems. Bad points are very squeaky floors and no breakfast or restaurant they advertise it is available but you have to leave the hotel and walk to a cafe nearby which does not have a good fresh selection of anything. As a footnote the hotel now has new owners who will upgrade and open a restaurant but its gonna take a long process.

  Friendly hotel in friendly city

  I was surprised about Abakan citie's generous layout and friendliness, and the Hotel Abakan was decent too. Extraordinary friendly and helpful receptionist. Good enough rooms for Central Siberian standards. Good location in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Not far to the airport either.

  Excellent service went the extra mile

  Excellent customer service, allowed us to check in early very helpful staff that helped us plan our onward route. very good room rates for what you receive. good rooms with very good facilities and good free wifi.

  Very good considering where you are

  Location is central with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Check in was fast. I was upgraded from the Luxe room I had booked to the "Apartment". It was very well equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, small dining area, kettle (and free coffee/tea), sitting area with TV, work desk, and separate bedroom with a small queen sized bed that was very comfortable. Ample storage area as well. Fast free wifi. 24 hour front desk. The only problem was the shower (in a large tub) leaked onto the floor, so the bathroom floor was mostly wet after a shower. My colleagues in standard rooms said those are very nice as well. There's a good mini-market less than one block away to buy breakfast items. The included breakfast is at a cafe across the street. It is OK, but not especially good, and opens only at 8am. Construction is underway of restaurant on ground level. staff says is it will be complete in July 2015 at which point breakfast will be there. Overall I found this place very comfortable. Will return.

  This hotel was excellent!

  Everything about this hotel was top grade, from the accommodations, the people, the service, etc! ...The reception was smooth upon arrival, and the attention to detail in the room was great... I will recommend this hotel to my colleagues, and look forward to staying there again next year...
