  El peor hotel en el que he estado en los últimos 25 años

  Hotel viejo, descuidado, sucísimo, se cae todo a cachos. Lleno de porquería por todos los lados, recepción malísima (cuando hay alguien) servicios malísimos. Muy lejos de la ciudad antigua, junto a la playa (pero en diciembre y lloviendo) y carísimo 110 noche por un hostal. Habitación en 2ª planta, sin ascensor, maletas a pulso, trozos de papel higiénico tirado por todas las zonas del hotel, lo deben limpiar una vez al mes. En fin un auténtico cuchitril.

  Dirty

  We went to this hotel when booking.com overbooked us at the Nea hotel. The front desk people were very nice but the room was a real disappointment. The toilet seat was missing all together and by our standards was not as clean as it could have been. The bed was not very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very good!

  Not clean, not cute, not lovely.

  This is probably the worst place we have ever stayed. It is really gross. We had to get a room last minute due to a booking snafu, and there was nothing available except this place, and I completely understand why. It is run down and really more like a hostel. But besides that, it is dirty. When we checked in to our room (which was almost $250 per night, not like a bargain in any way), it looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The curtains had big stains on them that looked like poop smears, there were hairs in the sink and shower, and it just looked like a really rundown old motor lodge. There were families with kids running around up and down the hallways at all hours, making a ton of noise. I'm sure the only reason people stay here is because it's beach front but there are many other options, even in a small town like Akko, and I would not recommend this. If you are used to staying hostels and paying luxury hotel prices, go for it. If not, stay away.

  Tourist Trap of the worst kind

  If you want to experience all that can go wrong in one place: Look no further, you just won the jackpot! You will fall asleep on a lovely camouflage pattern of stains, collected over years to make sure all shades of brown and yellow come nicely together. On the pillows, upholstery and curtains other colors such as my favourite, crusty-white, join the picture. DNA traces of various fellow travellers who have been to this godforsaken place of ruined travel-dreams pave the floor, making it hard to ever feel lonely. In fact, in the retrospective the remains surely make a nice and cushy carpet if someone really dares to walk barefoot. The sleeping stables reek from an artistically mixed blend of chemicals and cheap 1-cent gas station car fragrance as you might find in an abandoned Soviet fertilizer plant or the likes. But at least it overlays the natural odor the omnipresent mildew spreads. In the part of the flophouse, which might be considered by some less demanding living beings as bathroom, hair collectors will feel like Christmas and Birthday at once. Conclusion: I have travelled remote places in Asia, I have been to places in the Middle East where no foreign face is seen for days, spent nights in hostels costing a bargain and I can generally sleep in standing position if I have to without complaining much about it. But not even a horde of angry baboons will keep me longer than a minute in that place. Ever. Clearly a total tourist trap and a real shame for anyone with a basic understanding of whats right or wrong.

  Avoid

  Walked into the room and noticed the bathroom sink was very dirty. When I opened the curtains I saw hand prints and scuff marks all over the walls. The worst thing was the bed was dirty. It had been made but the sheets had not been changed. There was hair and dirt throughout. Staff gave me a different room that was better, but still not clean enough. The shower had not been given a good scrub in its life.
