  Excellent Honeymoon

  Almond Beach Resort was a great choice for our honeymoon. We wanted a place that offered exclusivity while also providing enough activity for our taste. We were not disappointed! The resort offered so much to do and the grounds were just incredible. They offer the excursions right there on site as well, which was a huge bonus. Also, this resort offers scooters to rent if you just want to zip into town for a few hours. Apparently this is something the other resorts didn't have, so Almond Beach Resort has the leg up on this! The rooms were beautiful and always well-kept. And the food was amazing! We had the good fortune of enjoying their Thanksgiving meal this time around, and it was just spectacular. The purple yampis were our favorite. The pool swim-up bar was probably one of our favorite spots on the resort. It was almost the gathering place during the midday hours and you were sure to get some delicious drinks from Justin. The biggest thing to know about Almond Beach - the staff will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy and taken care of. There were a few mix-ups during our stay and the staff was always kind and accommodating in every way possible. We are so happy Shakira was there to help out! And we always had the best service at the restaurant with Andy. He was incredible! Edgar, at the lobby bar, will be sure to mix some of the most incredible cocktails you will have in Belize. Almond Beach is amazing. Book it, you won't regret it. Ok, done writing now. Time to post some pics

  Anniversary

  Second time at this resort and absolutely love it. Staff is friendly, relaxed and always happy to help. They are very attentive and it was nice to see that they remembered me from my last visit. Food at the resort restaurant very good and there are some great spots close to the resort to eat as well

  Relaxing Hopkins

  Excellent resort offering beautiful surrounding, stunning beach location, superb food & beverage services, variety of excursions, activities, tours conveniently arranged on site, courteous and friendly staff who go beyond the ordinary, well appointed rooms, family friendly and suitable for couples and newly weds; transportation options are available to go into Hopkins - bicycle, taxi, or adventurous walk (over an hour) not recommended after dusk; proximate to eateries, laundry mat, gymn (daily memberships are available) and marina. The resort has an ideally located dock and dock bar.

  Best vacation ever

  My boyfriend and I visited the Almond Beach at Jaguar reef resort December of last year. Now we are in quarantine and dreaming of our most perfect vacation ever! We cannot say enough good things about this place. The minute we walked in we were blown away! We were greeted by the GM and the front desk staff and whisked away to our perfect little oasis. The resort is so open and airy, quiet and peaceful, you cant help but feel relaxed. Our room was perfect. We did have an issue with the water turning off our first night but being a smaller more remote resort, small inconveniences would be expected and they fixed it in a few hours. Our first day we took a long walk into the main town and ate at Tongs cafe. By early afternoon we were ready for some cocktails and we were so happy to meet our favorite bartender Edgar! Edgar is a craft cocktail maker and made the best drinks!!! He is also very nice and fun to talk to. You can tell he puts a lot of pride into his work. He even made my boyfriend a special drink because he was having stomach trouble. Each bar has a happy hour throughout the day and its fun to bounce around and visit each one! We also really enjoyed the dock- hanging out in the nets chilling, jumping from the dock into the water, and having ceviche at the bar. The beach is natural and clean, not crystal clear but very pretty and relaxing. It was easy to get chairs in the morning and early afternoon and there was plenty of space to spread out between people. We did notice it got busier on the weekend and we did wish there would have been less kids but we were there during Christmas. A couple of days the dock bar was completely overwhelmed by kids we didnt even bother visiting there. It would be nice if they did not allow unaccompanied children on the dock but I do believe they were not allowed upstairs. The resort breakfast was delicious and very well priced. Service was great. One of our highlights was Dennis the coconut king and his right hand man Captain Larry!! Dennis is quite the showman, climbing up yall trees, always playing and laughing, you cannot hell being in a good mood around him! He got us a fresh coconut every day. Please be sure to look out for these guys and tip them too! I did want to go in a tour but we were so relaxed we just ended up renting some free paddle boards. The woman at the adventure desk was super sweet and very professional! She answered all my questions and wa apron or at opening the shop at 6am so I could sunrise paddle board which was awesome! We stayed 4 days In total and felt like we would have stayed a whole month!! We cannot wait to return. Thank you everyone at the Jaguar reef for the best vacation weve ever had!

  Totally loved the ambiance, the scenery was very beautiful! Waking up to the breathtaking view and the sounds of the waves splashing! The staff as well as the villagers was so welcoming!! Totally going back Highly recommend staying here!
