  Venir al Amazones es una experiencia diferente. Hemos estado en muchos hoteles y apartamentos de más de 15 países, y acabamos de vivir una experiencia única. Este es un pequeño complejo de apartamentos sencillos y básicos. Pero el encanto está en el resto: ambiente relajado y tranquilo, entorno cuidado de frutales, atención personalizada las 24 horas del día, Demitri, Natasha y George se encargan de que te sientas como en casa. Desayuno en la terraza completo, piscina familiar donde juegan los niños, internet y TV por cable y aire acondicionado en cada habitación. Los peros: el aparcamiento está un poco lejos y no hay limpieza de habitaciones el fin de semana. Convives con la pareja que regenta el establecimiento y con sus dos hijos pequeños. Amables y simpáticos te cuentan la vida en Creta y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. Impresionantes vistas de la playa de Stalis desde la terraza de nuestro apartamento. Volveremos seguro.

  Warm welcome perfect location

  Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location just yards from the beaches, shops, many restaurants and more that make up the village resort of Stalis between Hersonissos and Malia. A warm welcome that we have come to expect from the Amazones group of hotels from all the management and staff, chef and Kim who we have met on previous visits to other Amazones hotels nearby. Lovely gardens surrounding the bar/terrace area where we enjoyed a very low priced, ample well cooked full English Breakfast, Nice outdoor pool and ample sunbeds despite current Covid 19 restrictions on social distancing. We look forward to future stays at this family run hotel as we have at other hotels in the group.

  We stayed at these apartments as two familys of five we were given two one bedroom apartments with a connecting door which was great as we had two of everything. The rooms are basic but that is all you need. The pool area is lovely and clean and the staff were great billy, Kim Natasha and dimitri, even the cleaning lady was very helpful, the thing that stood out the most was that my daughter caught a bug on the first day of our holiday she was really poorly and I cannot praise and thank dimitri enough he really put my mind at rest and sorted out for us to go to the medical centre, they then continued to ask everyday how she was and offered to make her different foods, the location was brilliant and we would definitely come back.

  What an amazing place

  After having our Spain holiday cancelled due to covid and quarantine we were expecting to have a UK staycation !!! Which turned out to be horrendous price. As a family weve never been to Greece but was recommended by a friend to look at Stalis, Greece. Blind to where to stay we saw this apartments and it looked nice so took a punt at the reasonable price. Talk about making a superb punt ! Everything about this apartment was brilliant from the start to end. The owner requested we check in online as part of the covid rules so we did, on arrival it made everything so much easier. Billy showed us to our room which was later on and we went and had a few drinks which was the start of a great friendship. The next morning we had a table set up as wed booked B&B with continental but once we saw the breakfast menu we decided to try some extra and was well worth it and the extra cost was easy to pay as the quality was amazing... to that point we went every morning. Great job from Dimitris, Natasha and Kim. During the day we spent time around the pool and Billy, Kim and Natasha could not do enough to make sure we basically did nothing and relaxed, they brought us drinks as requested and made the best lunches ever, Natashas club sandwich is one of the best in resort. As for the accommodation, we were in the end top apartment, which was a good size and had a great sea view which was a bonus. It was very clean and if we needed anything it was sorted instantly. We used the mini golf which was a bit of fun, had lots of games of pool and enjoyed many drinks with Dimitris, Natasha, Kim and Billy. The location is a nice walk out to the main town of Stalis and its beautiful beaches. We are already looking for next year. Thank you team Amazones Villas apartments.

  Really very disappointed

  When we arrived at Amazones we were not told we could rent a safety deposit box and we only found out through word of mouth. This hotel is barely a 2 star. You don't get black out curtains, you don't get Wi-Fi in the rooms as they can't remember the password , you don't get cable tv in your room unless you speak german. No happy hour , no waterside but you do get coakroaches in your apartment. When we told the owner , he shrugged his shoulders. The mixer taps in the shower got so hot that i burnt myself leaning on it really badly ,when i told the owner he did nothing , not even offered first aid. If you are bed and breakfast you will get toast , ham , cheese , boiled eggs and a choice of 3 cereals. the pool area is a joke. All the sun loungers are broken as are the parasols and one flew out of the stand and hit me in the back, when we told Billy he said don't use it, no offer to fix it. There are rat droppings left on the parasol base which have been over a week. We were moved from a hotel that was unsuitable as our 3 star plus accommodation was cancelled by jet2
