  Amazing experience

  We visited with my husband and two daughters aged 3 and 1 for 10 days in August and we were so happy with this gorgeous hotel... apart from the fact that the hotel is absolutely spotless and the breakfast was really good, the staff were so lovely, particularly Maria at reception and Panayiota in the restaurant! It was little girls 4th birthday whilst we were there and due to the Greek holidays I wasnt able to find a restaurant that had availability to cater for her party so I spoke to the hotel and they went above and beyond to arrange the perfect birthday party for my little girl! The rooms were cleaned every day which was a massive bonus! Due to Covid-19 there wasnt any entertainment but it honestly did not matter it was a fantastic 10 days at a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location! Thank you to all of the staff at Amethyst

  Excellent hotel and great value for money

  Planned a short vacation in Ayia Napa and came across this beautiful hotel next to Makronissos beach, in which some of my Cypriot friends had stayed either on their vacation or during the COVID-19 quarantine period. I can safely say that, in this modern hotel, I had one of my most enjoyable holiday stays ever. The room was very spacious, well-organized, clean and colorful; I particularly enjoyed the painting on the wall, purple couch pillows / top sheets, and blue night light. The pool was equally excellent and perfect for relaxing times alone or with friends. Breakfast was rich and tasty, offering various options according to preferences (English, continental etc.). In addition, the area is situated very close to Makronissos and Nissi beaches, and buses to Ayia Napa town centre as well as other areas (Paralimni, Larnaca etc.) are just around the corner; same goes for a nearby convenience store equipped with everything you need. The service was exemplary, as staff members were very eager to respond to any enquiries and ensure a pleasant stay; all of them spoke Greek fluently which is a huge communication advantage for native speakers from Cyprus and Greece. Finally, all amenities were offered at a very affordable price - especially for the island's high season, which is what makes Amethyst a standout choice. Overall I can only say positive words about this hotel and will undoubtedly book again. Very highly recommended for all types of vacation, especially when you want to relax in this fabulous area without being affected by the noisy environment of downtown Ayia Napa.

  Wonderful

  The hotel is nice, modern and clean. It's very good option for it's price. The rooms are big enough and all of the rooms have sea and pool view. They provided water for free. There is no underground or covered parking. The location is good next to makronissos beach. We went on foot to makronissos but you need to have car to go to the center. There is Supermarket opposite and coffe shop next to the hotel.

  Perfect hotel!

  Fabulous hotel! The rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast was lovely with a wide selection of food and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of available sunbeds around the pool, there are a few that you have to pay for as these are actual beds that sit within the pool but the normal sunbeds are free. There is a bar where you can have lunch/dinner, we ate there a few times and the food was lovely. This hotel is located in a quiet area but is only a 5 minute taxi journey towards ayia Napa and it has 2 beaches within walking distance from the hotel. There is a supermarket across the road from the hotel and a few restaurants nearby. Id definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone :-)

  Right choice to stay there,

  We have a family room which a suite with very good size for 4 persons. Nice decoration in the room, very clean with a big balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Breakfast very nice and lobby area very nice decorated. Pool was nice but not nice. Best part was the internal pool and free sauna and Jacuzzi. For sure we will come back.
