  Correcto para viaje de negocios

  Estuve en este Hotel 4 noches por motivos de trabajo. El hotel tiene una estética algo anticuada, pero es funcional. Las habitaciones son equiparables a un 3 estrellas español. El personal es atento y cortés. Está a unos 20 minutos caminando del centro de Basingstoke. Fue grata la experiencia en el Restaurante.

  Lovely

  Thank you for making our stay so great in these unprecedented times. We needed some time away from seeing the same four walls and it gave us just that. Although we stayed confined to our room ( by choice) we enjoyed every minute. Breakfast was the only confusing situation for us. We never got told from check in we could have it in our room with out the charge so we missed breakfast first morning mainly due to the early times. A seven year old who doesnt have to get up for school wasnt going for breakfast between 6.30-8.30 the next day we had it in our room well the adults did anyway :) Thank you for making our stay so perfect.

  Worst hotel Ive ever stayed in

  The bed in the room we were staying in had a literal crater in it, which could not have been missed by whoever changed the sheets. It was impossible to lie on as it would sink under our weight. We didnt notice this until 11pm by which time we were unpacked and the kids were fast asleep so there was no way we could move rooms, but instead of offering a mattress topper they suggested we sleep on the floor, and gave us an extra duvet. If they had offered some form of compensation, or were apologetic it would have been more understandable, but we received terrible customer service and had to pay full price for a room without a bed to sleep on! The breakfast was disgusting, the family room had no bedside lamps so they either had to have the bright main lights on or be in darkness, which was ridiculous. They only supplied 2 towels for 4 people. Really awful.

  Sofa bed in poor condition

  Me and my 8 year old daughter stayed one night, and the cleanliness was amazing, staff were very friendly. The television, phone and lights all working. Towels enough for both of us. It's a shame that the beds let it down. The sofa bed wasn't made (which isn't too big of deal) I just went back to reception and asked, sure enough, 30 mins later all made up. But the springs and fabric were so close to coming away from the fittings and the mattress was so old, the metal was causing huge bumps on the bed. Very uncomfortable, but my daughter was so tired, see slept through (mostly) My bed was clean, but so soft that my hips hurt in the night, I mean literally kept me awake. Radiator was making banging noises when turned off for about 4 hrs. Sorry to say, I won't be visiting again. Shame, because everything else was great.

  Overnight stay at the Apollo Basingstoke

  the Apollo Hotel is located just off the A339 broad in Basingstoke and is basically just off the round about to Popley way. the access in to the hotel is straight forward and there is a one way system in operation. the main desk reception is clean and laid out well to account for the pandemic and rules that have to be followed. the receptionist was pleasant and professional, all government guidelines were being followed, with posters and face masks being worn by all. this gave me reassurance in the hotel. with the current situation in mind it was good that this hotel allowed for food deliveries from takeaways in the area deliveries and drop offs are done safely and at distance. the room was clean and comfortable with all the normal bits and pieces ironing board and hair dryer, i myself carry wipes and I did wipe down appliances and areas I may touch on arrival in my room. ( but that's just me ) I was a little disappointed in the tea and coffee as the milk was out of date and for a 24hr stay could have done with extra tea and coffee especially as breakfast was sandwich Bap of bacon, sausage or egg with a yogurt a breakfast bar ,apple and apple juice, only to be expected due to government guidelines. Overall for me this stay was comfortable, with staff cheerful professional staff at reception,
