  We spent a beautiful sunny week in this hotel early July. We were fascinated by the hotel, the service, the food, the animation. All inclusive was great. Every day there were several types of meat prepared differently, various salads and soups, as well as Bulgarian alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A children's disco was organized in the evenings. The beach is 150 meters away and has its own free umbrellas and sun beds for extra charge.

  Avoid this hotel

  Where to start with this hotel? First of all check that you can get a transfer from the airport to the resort,because no bus can get to the hotel and private transfers/car refuse to go there,so if you have paid for this service with your holiday company be prepared not to get it,a taxi is about £50 and around 1 hour -1 hour 30 .The hotel is down a dirt track no roads,so when you turn off for the last 3 miles it's a very bumpy ride.We arrived at the hotel about 2 in the morning to find a note and room key left on the desk,no staff at all,no map and very limited lighting outside to find the room.The first thing to hit you when you enter your room is the smell of damp.The room appeases clean on the surface The beds are very low and the bedding is very badly stained,no mattress cover and the pillows are only fit for the bin.The cleaners only mop the bathroom floor,your beds are not made,if you leave your towels on the floor they pick them up and hang them on the shower door.I had to complain before we got clean towels and clean sheets and when we did get them well their where more stained then the last ones.The cleaners spend most of the day and evening mopping the reception floor,this became a standing joke,as the cleaners would get cross because we had to walk on it to get anywhere and the amount of children that fell on it.The food is OK standard sort of thing you get on all inc,but it's not very hot.We were the only British people for the first few days then by the end of the week they was 3 other couples,we found that most of the other guests were from Bulgaria.Staff could only speak a little of English,all written signs,and paper work are not translated,so I think this is the first time it's been used by British guests.There was a large number of children ,and the pool and pool area is small with a limited number of sun beds.Also this is not a beach front hotel the beach is a 5 minutes walk away.Here there are a number of bars but you wouldn't eat at any of them because they are so dirty looking ,with birds nesting in them so it's hit and miss with the bird dropings,but the view is lovely.Nothing more a round the place another then a few hotels,holiday places and camp sites ,the rest is waste land,no buses again because they wouldn't get down the dirt track of a road,please don't think that I'm joking about this access route to the place as I'm not.If you are going take with you some bedding extra towels to go over the bedding if you can .Good luck. There are many photos of the hotel so I'm leaving only one of our balcony ,which is covered,and remained that way,in bird droppings.

  Relaxing - good food, pool, close to beach

  This is a difficult hotel to find and would recommend that you check that your transfer actually takes you to the hotel and not to the bus stop near the airport. The transfer should cost 50-60 GBP. The hotel all inclusive is a refreshing surprise all fresh and hot, good choice of drinks both alcoholic and non. It's really close to a couple of lovely beaches which are shallow with a good lifeguard presence. The hotel has a dedicated beach area where you don't have to pay for shade, but you do for beds (very cheap though). It's about an hour from the airport. The welcome pack has no english and the staff speak very little but for us this just added to a nice sense of being abroad and wasn't a problem. We didn't go with kids, but the kids entertainments and activities were amazing and the kids were besotted with the staff. They even go down to the beach a couple of times a day to provide entertainment. Air con and wifi were good in most areas. Only downside were the beds were a little uncomfortable, but may just have been our room. Overall I would recommend making the effort to go a little out of the way to this place. For what you get it's amazingly good value.

  Dirty room and horrible food.

  All photographs on the hotel's website are old and do not reflect reality. I find this very dishonest and misleading. The room was spacious but that's the only good thing abou it. It was very dirty, dust everywhere, horrible floors, mould and spiderwebs everywhere. The bed sheets were discoloured (pee colour) and had holes in them. The curtains were dirty and smelled like dust. There was no curtain rail in the bathroom and the wated was splashing all over the bathroom floor. The hairdrier was fixed with tape. Nobody changed our bath towels. The food was absolutely disgusting. They were offering us the cheapest of the cheapest food. I would not even give that food to my dogs. There were few dishes that we liked but the majority of what was offered was disgusting. No room on the beach for us because the other guests were reserving the umbrelas on the beach with towels. The same was near the swimming pool. It was very noisy and absolutely not possible to relax. The last thing I want to mention is that there is no good road leading to the hotel. Avoid this hotel.
