  Mis mejores vacaciones

  Desde nuestra agencia de viajes de La Seu d, Urgell nos propusieron ir a este resort situado en Heraklion, en la parte central de la Isla de Creta (para evitar la masificacion de turistas) ya que buscamos descanso y desconexion. Llegamos a las 4. 00h de la madrugada, ya que los vuelos son nocturnos. Nos recibieron con una amabilidad esquisita el Recepcionista y nos acompañaron con Byggy hasta nuestro bungalows, sitiado en lo última zona del resort, al lado de una playa privada preciosa. Al día siguiente después de dormir con la máxima tranquilidad, nos dirigimos al comedor, dispone de dos enormes comedores situados a ambos lados de la piscina central y un kiosco donde se sirven bebidas y cada noche hacen espectáculos superdivertidos. Junto a mi marido al día siguiente nos dirijimos al centro del pueblo i allí alquilamos un coche. Aunque el Resort te ofrece ese servicio (a mi gusto caro) Después de 5 días llegó mi aniversario y me dejaron un detalle muy bonito, un pastel felicitando el día. El personal un 15 sobre 20 La habitación algo antigua pero limpia La restauración magnifica La localización I ambiente del Resort fantástico. Volveremos Os recomendamos visitar Chania y las ruinas de Knossos.

  Excellent Hotel, great beach, close to Airport

  We were staying here in August 2020, for 5 nights. First of all, the transfer was really quick, because it is close to the main Airport of Heraklion. There is a variety of rooms to choose from, because there is a main building and then a couple of additional bungalow buildings. The rooms are spacious with fridge and air-con. There is also a nice balcony with table and chairs. The beach is beautiful and they offer sunbeds and umbrellas for free. Keep in mind, the Hotel is close to the Airport, so there will be planes flying over your head a couple of times. Mostly the sound of the waves is louder anyway, so it didn't bother us. There is also two Bars located at the pool and the beach with free drinks. The newest attraction is a small water-park with toys for the kids and also three slides for kids and adults and we found the slides to be a lot of fun, very nice surprise. The Hotel offers a variety of food over the course of the day and it was always exceptional delicious! Just don't just stick with pizza and fries (which they have all time and are also good), try the salads (they were always fresh and mixed creatively), try the grilled vegetables and the fish. It was amazing, we tried to taste everything, we probably didn't succeed. ;) There is also an asian buffet every night, it was ok, but don't expect to much of it .. why do one want to eat sushi in Greece anyway? Also there was a lot of staff everywhere and right now because of Covid-19 they have to handle the buffet and give the food to you. The staff was always exceptionally nice and helpful and always smiling. It was a pleasure, thank you for that. There is also free Wifi in the Hotel and even on the beach, speed was ok (~3MBit/s), but there was a lot of packet loss and short disconnects in between. All in all an excellent stay, we will probably come back again.

  Disappointing COVID approach

  We are currently staying here with 3 days to go. The hotel is very close to the airport so no long transfers are involved which is good. The hotel looks and feels very modern, nice rooms and decor. Food is nice, all inclusive drinks however are not pleasant, cheaply done and soda drinks taste flat! We were unsure of whether to come away because of Covid. Unfortunately the hotel staff do not seem to be taking it seriously enough with wearing their face masks. Most of them wear it on their chin or half on their mouth, very few of them actually using it for its purpose to cover their mouth and nose!! Whilst we hugely appreciate the heat and how uncomfortable it is to wear them it still doesnt comfort me with their half hearted approach, especially those working in the main restaurant. Its a pleasant enough stay but we would not look to return here.

  The Staff is the Diamond in the cretan sun

  When will a Guest Come Again? When the Food is Fine? When the Beach is beautiful? Sure.... but When the Staff is so friendly and with a warm welcome Like Here and they work with the Heart and with The Passion.....Then you know there is no better Place To Stay... A Big warm efcharisto Poly to all the People working to make uns a nice vacation... To the Night Watch, the reception, the Cooks, the Walters, the cleaining personel, the Facility Managers, the Bar People and the charming Ladies from the Spa.

  Coping in Difficult circumstances

  My wife and I returned from our long-awaited holiday at our usual hotel at Arina Beach. Being in, or around our 70s the paperwork we had to do in the UK was a bit daunting but this soon faded into the past as we entered our hotel. The reception staff (Maria, Natia and Ariadni) couldn't have been more welcoming. This was our 10th year at this hotel and we were made to feel so special. The room was superb the food excellent and the service was exceptional. Yes we had to wear masks when we were moving around but you soon got used to it, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The attention given by the staff was of the highest you could imagine and we had the best holiday ever! The Entertainment staff (Kiki, Alex )that looked after the children all day for some visitors worked ceaselessly and must have been exhausted by the efforts they put in to make the kids visit enjoyable. The restaurant staff and pool bar staff were very polite and hard working, which all made for the general ambiance of the stay. It was good that the Exec Assistant manager was there too and he made sure that a;; the guests were being looked after and to a high standard. Yes we will definitely be back next year and a big THANK YOU to Ariadni and her staff. Regards Paul Astal-Stain
