  Christmas Getaway

  Love the upgrade of the resort. Very pretty rooms and nicely spacious. Would like to see more activities planned for the Resort after COVID. The location of Atlantic Beach makes traveling to the beach easy with less traffic.

  Great Beach Location

  We stayed in a very comfortable, well-equipped one-bedroom unit. The feature we enjoyed most was the beach. This was the first time I stayed in a place where I could walk to the beach in minutes without even having to cross the street. Even though it was October, it was warm enough for us to wear shorts or bathing suits. The beach was clean and peaceful. The main drag, Fort Macon Road, is not pedestrian friendly. However, the hotel is short drive from Beaufort, a charming historic town, and Fort Macon State Park with interesting historic displays and good walking.

  Nice units, but that is about it.

  The unit interiors have been updated and are pretty nice. That is about the only good thing I can say. Customer service/housekeeping is non-exsistent. I get that it is off-season, but these folks are totally checked out. When housekeeping forgot to give us toilet paper, the front desk attendant acted like we were lying and finally (very begrudgingly) gave us some. There were bags of trash on the landing for days. Didn't see a single housekeeper our entire stay. Expect to have to buy coffee filters/ dishwasher tabs/ soap/ etc, as they only provide minimal amounts (if any) and considering the attitude about the toilet paper, I don't expect they would provide you with more. The unit was fairly clean, but we did find fingerprints on the microwave, so I'm not sure they are wiping down high touch surfaces as well as they should be during a pandemic. The units have very little privacy. The bedroom windows face other units bedroom windows and the living room windows face the common walkway. In addition, our unit was being painted, so we had to keep our curtains pulled the whole time or we had men looking in our unit from 7am-7pm. Walls are thin and windows and doors are old and let in tons of noise from the road/parking lot. We could hear snoring from the unit next door. To top it all off, I woke up one morning, to a man (a painter) looking through our third story bedroom window. He was standing on our balcony (which he had climbed on to using a ladder). Why they would put us in a unit that we actively being painted (when the place is huge and was almost totally empty) is beyond me, but when I called the front desk and asked if they would kindly remove the strange man from my balcony, they again gave us a hard time stating that this was "standard maintenance" and only after I got firm would "see what they could do"! Oh, and did I mention that the sliding glass door to the balcony he was standing on was broken and didn't lock. The front desk attendant again seemed bothered that I'd disturbed her. Unreal.

  December getaway

  First time staying at this resort. Decided to take a getaway before the holidays. Our one bedroom was updated and comfortable. Right on the beach so easy access. Not much else going on this time of year but we enjoyed it. We would come back

  Weekend Getaway

  Very satisfied in off season. The resort has a lot of amenities.It also has an indoor heated pool and is in walking distance to the ocean. It also within walking distance of the town center square.....
