  Cheap and cheal

  We were a group of about 25 people staying in the hotel for 7 nights. During that period I had the chance to check out a lot of rooms. Pros: the ladies at the front office are really really nice, they speak english too. They have free wifi - alltough it has some issues. You have towels, a hair dryer, soap, shampoo. Cons: sadly all things considered the staff just cant undo the bad things the management does. The Hotel has left us with an overall bad impression. Its dirty, the hardcore kitschy wall decorations are on some parts already gray. I took some pics, kitsch wouldnt have been a major issue for me, but the quality of the services was. Poor wifi coverege in the rooms is typical, which considering the extreme roaming fees is a problem (about 10 /mb). Food. I usualy like the local food, or at least accept it for how it is. The problem however wasnt the quality, but the quantity. 2 (two!) small chicken wings, and some wedgies for instance. Someteimes no water on the table, and really awful coffee. Conference room? Nope. Its a larger room, maybe to work with 10-15 people at max. Parking. Major problem, because the hotel does not have a parking lot. You can park on the sidewalk, which is illegal in the whole city of Chisinau, and and up without your rear license plates (local police collects it, youll get it back, once they gibe you your fine). Youll have to find a parking space in the surrounding streets. Tv: 1-2 english speaking channels, the rest of theam are russain, arabic and so on. Price: for this kind of bad quality definetly overpriced. There are better alternatives nearby.

  Reasonable

  This is a small hotel close to the city center of Chisinau. It charges a low price for what you get, concidering it is clean and the rooms have a rather high standard. True, the bed might have seen its best year, but part from that the hotel does mainly what it should. The small staff is nice and speak reasonable english. They are however very young and actually a bit confused about this hotel-thing. So breakfast didnt really happen, and they werent really sure how long I had book, but part from that they were very helpful. And for the price: It is good value for money.

  Cheap hotel with cheaper quality

  I can only blame myself for choosing this place. I chose it because of it's location (close to the center) and price. And now it is good lesson for me to read reviews before and trust to them. A day before arrival I asked via email (in English) could it be possible to check in earlier than official check-in (14:00). The answer was no. Still I didn't have other option - after the long night flight I arrived at 10:00 am and I got the room (with the terrible smell of smoking). Actually hotel was empty - 2 rooms next to me were empty for next 2 days. I think negative reply to my request was because question was asked in English. For this hotel Russian works better for sure. I was informed that breakfast will be from 8:00 to 10:00 and it was good for me. For my suprise next morning when I tried to figure out where to find breakfast I was blamed that I haven't informed the staff at what time I would like to have the breakfast. Actually nobody asked :) For the next morning it was asked 3 times :) and still not in time.. The best heat was on my last morning, when I checked out and asked whether I could leave mu luggage until afternoon, and the reply was, yes for sure, leave it here - in the lobby. Just like that, in empty hotel there is no safe place for luggage. It is also worth to mention that my hotel room was not get cleaned during those 2 days. I don't know how it is possible to get 3 stars for this kind of quality. Actually I would like to suggest to remove this hotel from Tripadvisor list, because it is not the place where someone would like to stay. And for hotel owners suggestion would be to go and stay in some other hotel just to see, how they are working. And don't expect any smiling you back here...

  Make sure you read the small letters and if you want a studio, demand one.

  I booked this as Studio Bucharest and it turns out it's just a part of the building at Bella Donna Hotel, which was never informed. I was sent to a regular bedroom and not a studio, which is rather disappointing. When asked for an explanation, the busy receptionist said that the guest at the studio decided to stay longer, which is actually not my problem. Despite not being what I booked, the bedroom had a beautiful classic decoration.

  Poor quality hotel for small amount of money

  I have been staying for two days, one day too many. The Reception was close to my room, so I have watched the performance of receptionists. Some were good, some awfull. Generally, the Hotel is dirty and the window curtains in my room, were probably washed 10/15 years ago. The breakfest and hot drinks (coffe, tea) were prepared without taking proper care. The only positive things is strong wifi signal and the location of Bella Donna 10 min walking distance to the city center.
