  Old stile not renovated hotel Pluses Nice area and ocean view Big rooms Minuses - nothing around if you hungry evening time you have to go to City Centre, and hotel stuff can't recommend you anything - old style rooms - no AC - wifi only 15 minutes - hotel smells old

  Good room, amazin hosts, very convenient for business at iFremer

  I stayed in a room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was not the most modern, but very clean. The wifi worked well, the toilet was separate from the shower, which is always nice, and the bathroom was well stocked and the hot water worked well. Most importantly, the two people (I wish I knew there names) working the front desk were amazing. Specifically, they arranged a taxi for my return trip to the airport. The front desk is closed between 1am and 7am, we needed a taxi for 4am, so we arranged the night before. Unfortunately I overslept and my colleagues had to leave without me. I rushed outside on the outside chance I could still catch the cab only to find myself locked out of the hotel. I don't speak french, I tried to call a taxi, but got a french message machine. I had to ring the night bell to get back into the hotel for help. I can only imagine what a drag it is having to wake up to help a customer at 4am, but they did. Calling a cab for me, I was able to make it to the airport in time. Phew! The location is also very convenient if you have business with iFremer. It is a pleasant walk to the campus. The hotel prices are very reasonable, and I would recommend others stay here.

  Basic hotel off the beaten track

  March is perhaps not the best time to visit, when the mad-March gales are blowing with driving rain, but this somewhat remote setting, on a peninsula about 30 minutes outside Brest centre, tho not so far from Plouzane village, is where I found myself, arriving Sunday evening. Unfortunately there is no food available on Sunday evenings - only a sandwich dispenser machine. Only one staff member was available at reception but was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, large and clean with good free WiFi, TV and tea making facilities. Self-service breakfast is very basic but adequate. The setting with its sea views would be great during summer months, especially for families. However, there are no conveniently close restaurants, and it is an unattractive half hour hike into the adjacent town of Plouzane. Visitors really need a car here. Visitors without transport have to rely on phoning for a taxi

  Not Hotel a B&B

  A very remote location only suitable if there on business locally. Nearest restaurant over 9km away. Only food available is out of a machine though breakfast is fine and the room was fine. It however should not be considered a hotel it is a B&B no hotel facilities. If visiting Brest this is not a suitable for a holiday. In short stay at a proper hotel having to drive so far to get food is just not good enough. I read reviews before booking and found them misleading.

  Very dated hotel with poor service.

  Hotel is very dated and a bit dirty, unfortunately no other hotels available at the moment I was there.... Food was not bad but very limited in choice. Service also wasn't as you expect from a hotel that wasn't cheap! Never again for me.
