    Bought a weekend stay and meal via Wowcher for my husband's birthday treat in April. Was written to saying I'd be able to rebook. Have tried a few times via email. Today decided to ring. Website is down, phone number incorrect. Seems they have shut and taken mine and lots of other's money with them ! Shutting is one thing.. stealing money is another ! We all deserve full refunds.

    THIS HOTEL IS CLOSED

    Like lots of other reviewers, I had a booking via Travelzoo for a 2 night stay for my husband's birthday. Today, on realising the hotel is closed and uncontactable, I rang Travelzoo, who immediately gave me a refund for the voucher. So dont despair, there are some company's that are honourable.

    Very shabby treatment of clients

    Friend won a wedding package at an event. Whole wedding to be paid for at The Hever Hotel. All set for next weekend. Found out via a website they had closed. Hotel or liquidator havent contacted the wedding party. Despicable actions by whoever owns the Hotel - no prize, no wedding and no apology or compensation.

    Lovely staycation

    Booked a night here as we were doing Hever castle. What a lovely place. You can see how COVID has impacted the hospitality trade as this place should be busy during half term. We were the only people there for our stay. The room was large, warm and cosy. With big fluffy towels and a huge bed this was a lovely room. Everything be we needed was there, a great little place to stay really close to Hever Castle.

    Hotel is now in administration

    I had two rooms booked with this hotel but unfortunately it is now CLOSED and under Administration. Hotel did not send out any communication. I had made the booking via Travelzoo several months ago and once I notified them, they arranged a full refund. Great service from Travelzoo and I will certainly look to use them in the future.
