  Walking Distance from the Airport

  I stayed in the Best Western Plus Nobila from May 27th to June 3rd. I was in Cotonou for a training. The place is decent. I liked it. From there, I was able to get to where I wanted to go with no problem. The wifi worked on my laptop in the room, but not on my phone which was really annoying. I really like their breakfast and their dinner buffet was decent. The staff is really friendly and attentive. That was my second time in Cotonou in as many months. The first time, I stayed at Azalai, but I wasn't a big fan. Especially what I got for the price. I would stay at Best Western again.

  Average Hotel

  the staff are very friendly and give warm welcome but still need more engagement from the management to enhance the service and focus on the repeated and common complains received the customers specially that are related to food, water cut, internet, TVs...etc

  Almost a good place...

  Stayed here for a conference, and for the most part it was good, with some notable lapses. The good: The rooms are nice and spacious, comfortable bed, nice size TV (with an accessible HDMI, so could connect my tablet to a large screen). From previous reviews I feared poor internet, but for me it (like the hotel) was good enough, most of the time. The General Manger is very professional and service oriented, and you can see he genuinely cares about the guest experience. The not so good: (1) The room I was allocated (208) has a view that can best be described as an upscale prison overlooking a construction site. Have a look at the pics. This was a big turnoff for me, as I spent hours in the room working. I did ask to change rooms, but the hotel was full so they couldnt. (2) The restaurant didnt have any choice, just a buffet that I didnt find appealing, and the other alternative is an onsite Debonnaires Pizza/Steers Burger joint, where the food was awful (even for what it is), but worse than that, it smelled SOOOOO bad. We had our conference lunches served there, and its just terrible. (3) The staff, other than the GM, were friendly but useless, and frankly a bit annoying. From the bellboy who came up to me whispering in my ear every day weird phrases (he meant well, but when I sit down to work in the lobby, to have someone sneak up behind you and whisper in your ear are you seated well? ?! WTF?!) or when I asked for airport shuttle, agreed on a time, checked whether the driver is ready 10-minutes beforee and was told yes, he is here only to be made to wait half an hour because he went to get petrol (although the car was there), and keep being told throughout the time he is here, her is here. #fail. Bottom line, if you eat elsewhere (and I recommend you do), insist on a room without a prison view, and limit your expectations from the service team you can have a decent stay. Mine as just average.

  Above average.

  I would say this is an above average hotel by African standards. The furniture was very dated. However the bed was very comfortable and the mattress was newer. The room also had a newer flat screen TV, however most of the channels were in French. I think there was only one English channel that was from South Africa. Also the a/c worked great. Overall not a bad choice for Cotonou.

  Hotel di buona qualità

  Good : Nice reception with piano live music which I really loved and appreciated after a hard working day. Rooms are ok, clean and big, the bed is confortable. Buffet restaurant with nice food, especially in the morning for breakfast. Sigar room downstairs where to relax and enjoying a cuban sigar with liquor, unfortunantely not too much choice. Bad : Wifi not stable. Loundry takes for ever Fast food restaurant not very nice, sometimes it smells bad and the food quality is poor. No swimming pool No gym
