  Good for value

  Stayed here for work. The rooms have been redone relatively recently. It was quiet and comfortable. The only reason for a 4 out of 5 is the breakfast was bare by the time I got to it, wifi was also slow but that happens everywhere in the evening.

  Needs a good cleaning

  The bedding and bath fixtures were clean but the baseboards hadn't been wiped in a long time. Carpet and chairs are worn and some have holes in them. A/C worked fine and room was spacious. The toaster in the room (handy having that as their continental breakfast is done at 9 am) shot my toast about a foot and landed on the carpet.

  Nice well equipped room, cramped bathroom

  This is a good value place to stay, the staff are friendly, the room was very clean and the room had equipment there if you are not going out for dinner. The bathroom was well equipped but you had to squeeze past the door to get to the toilet. The breakfast had an average selection and finished at 9am. I would recommend this place and would stay again.

  BLACK MOLD! DIRTY!!

  Stay here for work every now and then but not anymore. The towelrack was covered in black mold and if you look around down low its a dirty hotel. I just can not believe that a hotel staff person would put clean towels right on top of mold! I see posts from 2 years ago complaints about this and the management replies "we will get this taken care of right away" I only hope this post costs you business.

  Good Location, Reasonable Rates

  Enroute to Fort Mc Murray from BC, had to do some work in this town and booked a room because one, their rates, and two, I have stayed in this hotel once in the past. The rooms are spacious too and the bathroom is clean but the use of darker towels in the washroom - probably just not used to it cause it looks not so clean even if it may be. they also have suites with kitchenettes, which could be an important consideration considering the circumstances that we're forced to be in because of the C19. It's what I was booking for but there's nothing available. Overall, the stay is ok primarily because of their internet - it's high speed and fast which is very important for my work at the end of the day. The location is also good, right in the heart of the town's commercial area steps away to, restos, groceries, gas station, a car wash, and other shops. The bagged breakfast is surprisingly good. Hot breakfast in this hotel is also good when they were still serving hot buffet breakfast.
