  Perfect guest house

  Had a lovely weekend break in clacton and stayed at this jewel of a guest house. The smartest looking guest house on the street. Owners were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Our room was lovely and airy and beautifully decorated with a table and chairs for a continental breakfast. The fridge had yoghurt cheese and more, with enough food to last till lunch. Microwave also was a great touch as I like porridge in the morning. Could not wish for more and will definitely be returning. 10 out of 10 to Paul Sofia and all.

  Home from Home!

  Every stay at Brunton House is a pleasure!From the warm Welcome and easy reception to the pleasant,clean and well equipped 'Family Room', We really are starting to feel like we are staying with Friends!The comfortable beds and excellent 'en Suite' Shower,the well stocked 'Fridge' with Milk,Butter,Yoghurts,Cheese etc.(even the bowl of fresh fruit ) provide practically all you need to enjoy your break ,at hand and in good order. The location,Parking facilities and 'Dog friendly' environment make relaxation very easy to achieve and as always leaving the only challenging part of the whole experience! We will be back as soon and as often as possible!

  Just like home

  Great little place, just eating my breakfast here now. Here for work i would reccomend to anyone looking at this place to give it a try you wont be dissipointed, when im back in the area this is my go to place

  Pleasant Guest House near the beach.

  5 minutes walk from beach, Off road parking, plenty of restaurants and take away's close by. Fridge and microwave in the room was very handy. Room was comfortable and we both slept well. Would definitely go back.

  Great trip for our family

  I stayed at Brunton House with my husband and daughter. We had the ground floor family room which consisted of a double and single bed. The room was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom. The sink was not in the bathroom, but in the room itself, but this did not cause any issues. We had a TV, dining table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. We were supplied with tea, coffee, fresh milk, loaf of bread, breakfast cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, orange juice, jams etc. Much more than we were expecting. This was all 'topped up' every day. The room was clean and Covid precautions were taken on greeting us and hand sanitizer was readily available by the street door when entering and exiting. We were a short stroll to the beach, pier and arcades and to the shops. There was plenty of choice for places to eat. The only negative we had was the people staying in the room above us were so noisy, sounded like they were running laps round the room at night and opening every drawer they could find- but you can't help who stays there. I would recommend this guest house and we will definitely return.
