  Great place to stay with very friendly people!

  We stayed here for six weeks. Lovely people always aiming to please from the reception team to the restaurant and the cleaning teams. The facilities are quite good with a pool, a gym, a hairdresser and the room is well equipped for a short stay: a washer and dryer, an oven, a kettle, a toaster, an iron and ironing board and other essentials. You could walk to the Bulgaria Mall where you can find Carrefour and several other shops. Surrounding this you also have other places to buy food like Bila or a restaurant called Mr. Pizza that delivers home. The Apartment House Bulgaria is very well situated and for sure won't disappoint.

  Helpful and friendly staff, good sized rooms.

  Stayed for a week. Rooms were large and well equipped. Hotel provided own router so internet was very fast. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend. Be aware that the parking (if you have a car) is on street. There is plenty of room however, so this was not a problem

  Excellent value

  We looked for the chain hotels first, but they were all booked in Sofia center. Then someone recommended the Apartment House Bulgaria as an alternative. Boy, are we glad we listened to the advice! The room was spacious, very clean, the bed - very comfortable. Huge breakfast buffet was included in the price (coffee and fresh juices are separate). You may want to verify that the breakfast is included, since they may have different packages. We also had lunch several times in the hotel's garden - beautiful setting and great authentic Bulgarian food. A suggestion would be to ask the chef what the planned meals for each day are, so you can plan accordingly. From the hotel, it is a very short walk (5 min) to the bus or tram stations, there is even a mall nearby!

  Comfortable, clean and excellent value.

  We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for two night. Spacious, clean and with most amenities provided except a kitchen tea towel. Location was a pleasant 30 minute walk to city centre Sofia. French patisserie around the corner for breakfast and coffee and chemist across the road was perfect. On the downside, the whole building smelt of cigarettes and felt you were in a 1950s movie. Apartment also did not provide a safe for valuables.

  Very comfortable, not so clean but with excellent value

  I was staying here for the full week, it was a business trip so I chose a hotel because it's close to the office. At first, it was not so easy to find this please as it's located in the middle of household blocks. I was really surprised when I entered my room, it was huge! Separate big living room and big slipping room. The bathroom was modern and nice, and there is also fully functional kitchen with washing machine. The downside was not so good hygiene, floors were dirty and there was dust all over the place. Also, mattresses were old and with devastated springs. In the end, i can recommend this place for shorter stay because it's really affordable, and good value
