  Excellent Experience

  We stayed here one night after fleeing a terrible hotel, and it was an excellent experience. We arrived late in the evening, and the manager came back specifically to hand over the keys to our room. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The outside looked a bit strange (we almost overlooked the building), but inside the room it was modern and sleek. We ordered the breakfast, which they left for us in the fridge in our room. Obviously it was not gourmet, but there was a good selection of food and I enjoyed the privacy. The only downside was the hotel's distance from the city center--I wouldn't recommend it for visitors hoping to see Aachen by foot, but it was perfect for our needs!

  Great accomodation

  We stayed here for a 1 night stopover with friends from Australia whilst touring Europe and on our way to the Belgian Grand Prix the next day. Very high standard accommodation with helpful and friendly owner. The breakfast provided in the room was excellent.

  overrated

  We stayed here one night. I don't understand why this hotel has great reviews. The rooms are not that clean. The pillows and the duvet cover smelled like strong B.O which was unbearable for me. I guess they didn't change them. The blanket left in the top wardrobe was even worse. We took it out to use it and to our horror, saw some tiny bugs (or flea) crawling on it.

  Short-Stop

  Boarding house is an excellent accommodation for a short-stop to visit Aachen and nearby NDL cities. Big elegant rooms in modern style. Only minus is the see-through-glass bathroom-door. Breakfast can be ordered as room-service upgrade. By this its provided the late afternoon before to be held in the fridge of the complete installed kitchen within the apartment. This family driven hotel is ready to meet even special requests at their best.

  Comfortable

  This was comfortable for a one night stop. The place is motel-like - a block of two floors of 8 or 10 rooms. The location is not that central to the rest of Aachen and unfortunately is next to a busy road which you can certainly hear in the rooms. There does not seem to be much in the neighbourhood. You would need a car to get around I suppose (I was relying on lifts). The room was spacious and clean. A good breakfast was provided (the evening before to keep in the fridge) as I had paid for this extra. The wi-fi worked well. Overall, a decent stopover but nothing special and not really consistent with the very high rating on booking.com.
