  Nice hotel, cool animation team

  We stayed there for one week. Really enjoyed wide food selection and daily activities with animation team! Great evening shows with different program each evening. Would love to visit Caretta again :)

  Happy holiday

  Just returned from this hotel. Vistited with our daughter and 3 grand daughters. We were concerned as to what we would find after reading the reviews. But, we need not have worried. Exceptionally clean and excellent customer service. Efficient air con in our rooms and fridge and microwave. Drinks and food were both very good. Even though it was busy, no queues for anything. You can be as active or as relaxed as you wish as there are several pool areas to choose from. 1 tip. Don't book any trips out through travel agent. So much cheaper if you just walk 50 yards put of the gate and book directly with the local company. 15 euros each for an 8 hour boat trip around the whole island !! Check out the Venue bar about 10 minutes walk. Good music and cheap, delicious cocktails.

  Nice hotel.

  Nice and quiet at night. A lot of Russian people. I think that we where around 5-7 people from another country than Russia. The pool area where nice but there was loud music from early on to long after dinner. The beach where nice, the staff where polite and the rooms where clean. The bar where also nice.

  Good hotel

  A couple of days ago I spent with my family 12 days in the hotel, all inclusive. Hotel staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent except of low quality fruits. Drinks on average level. No amenities in the bathroom. The cleaning service was on daily base, with embarrassing results in the room, corridor, dining room, outside around the pool - simply everywhere. Very noise air-conditioning caused problematic sleeping. The pool and pool for children were clean, toboggans and slides working 3-times per day without real control of safety by responsible person. The biggest problem were guests (especially Russian and Turkeys) - they were really noise, smoking everywhere - so you are not able to have rest time in fresh air on the sun around the outside pool, it was really polluted. The outside all inclusive service was good. The beach itself is mostly sandy with pebbles going to the water. During the time I spent the sea was covered by bigger waves practically all of the time so it is dangerous for children to step inside. The coastal water is mixed with sand and therefore it looks not clean - muddy. The temperature of the water in the pools was 27°C and sea around 29°C. At the end I have to say that it is possible to survive in this hotel on good level - but it is not four star hotel, maybe reaches three star..

  Family holiday

  Just home from carretta beach resort. Had a lovely week there. Staff on reception on the ball when we needed medical attention for our 21 son.we were in medical transfer within 10 mins and this was at 3 am. The pools were fantastic and well used by our grandchildren. Food was OK. You could always find something to eat. Rooms were clean and towels and bedding changed every day. I would recommend block E,as it's only 2 mins walk from reception and restaurant and entertainment but quiet enough to rest and relax in peace. Would definitely book swim up room if we ever visited again.
