  B&B sin Breakfast

  Bonito apartamento para verano, pero nosotros fuimos en semana santa y pasamos mucho frío dentro ya que no se podía encender la calefacción además de pensar que habíamos contratado una habitación de B&B y nos dieron el apartameto sin desayuno.. La madre de Stefania muy atenta pero solo hablaba italiano.

  Lovely, lovely stay!

  As my boyfriend doesn't like the heat, we requested a cool room - we were given a room on the ground floor which was the prefect temperature! It was a beautifully decorated, large and very comfortable. The house is a bit like a villa with beautiful plants growing in the garden - and a great seating area in the centre. The house feels very secure and we felt safe there. Meta is a small village, it was good staying away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento - which is a little busy but a great night out! The house is a 15 minute walk from the train station - not a difficult walk by any means. You walk through the centre of Meta where there is a supermarket, little cafes etc. The train is very cheap and you can get to Pompeii and Sorrento very easily. There are also buses from Meta which take you to Amalfi and Positano - these are also cheap and it takes about an hour to Amalfi. There is a small bakery directly opposite Casa Stefania which sells delicious cake and coffee for breakfast :) If you miss the last train back from Sorrento, a taxi back to Meta will cost about 30Euro, or you could walk back which would take about 45minutes. The rest of the public transport is really cheap though! Highly recommended! We had a great stay.

  Hermoso lugar!! Cálido, clima familiar y muy buena atención!!! Recomiendo 100% El patio de atrás y la terraza le dan un toque especial y ni hablar de los desayunos típicos de la bella signora del frente! Volvería con gusto...

  Lovely homely stay

  This is a lovely place in a village setting. It's an uphill walk and not the easiest to find as Google maps doesn't take you to the correct address. However, if you arrange for the shuttle service to meet you at the train station, before you arrive in Meta, it will be a lot easier. Stefania was extremely welcoming once we arrived and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. Wifi was good in main area and worked fine in bedroom but a little hit and miss. The location of Meta is very very remote...for tourist and a busy style holiday this is not the place. We got the train into Sorrento both days we were here and it was very easy and quick. For restaurants it's limited and quiet. Getting around meta requires a asking or the local shuttle bus service at 1euro it's great...but doesn't run into late evening therefore restricts how late you stay out for far from the hotel for restaurants. There are a few restaurants a 20min walk away down hill going but uphill back!! The road and hotel are high up and deceptive to find on a busy winding Street. However we can't fault the service and the room and views. A lovely clean modern room with a safe homely welcome. The patisserie opposite is amazing the best breakfast and coffees around...a MUST while staying here. Thanks Stefania for a great stay.

  Wonderful stay!

  We had a really lovely stay here - Stefania, her mother and Mario were extremely friendly and amenable, and made our stay very comfortable. The room was lovely with access to a very peaceful garden. The B&B is a little out of the town itself and up a very big hill, so I would definitely advise getting the 1 euro shuttle bus if trying to get there with luggage, however the town, amenities, train station and beach are all within comfortable walking distance if you don't mind the hills!
