  Just for one coming

  We stayed at the Alpenrose hotel for three nights. We had a half-board. At the reception staff did not know English. The owner came and said that now she can not give us more information because it is a dinner and not have time. Once a week, a joint dinner is organized outside the facility but nobody has informed us about that, so we stayed locked alone at the hotel. The owner did not say that all guests and owners dine together on hill near hotel, ones a week. Boy and I went out through the garden on the road and there were some people, which we did not see until then, and drove us to the place where all the other hotel guests waited. The next day we had an excursion to the lake. For that excursion, we found out from one guest instead of the owner. Apart from the owner, hotel staff don't speaking English so this makes communication difficult. Food in the hotel: breakfast is poor, homely, you have to pray for coffee three times, the dinner is tasty and abundant (appetizer, main course, dessert, choice between two menus). The rooms were rusticly decorated, comfortable although it was quite hot in our room because it was too small. We did not like the relation of the owner to us because he treated us as we were guests "of the second rank". We got the impression that Italian tourists preferred. The hotel's destination is beautiful though if you do not have a car you can not get anywhere.

  Alpenrose during our Christmas Holidays

  We have been in Alpenrose together with our families for the week of New Year's Eve 2017. We had the greatest time ever. Ms Martina welcomed us and made us feel at home from our first day and she was really helpful since she drove us around and made sure that our week was well planned. She was always very prepared and she went out of her way, for example she checked where we could go for horse sledging and she booked us herself. We also had a massage per room, and it was really nice) We highly recommend the place, good atmosphere, very good food and very welcoming hosts and staff.

  Beautiful and welcoming

  Ive stayed here three nights and I only can repeat all positive comments what other guests already wrote here. Nice location for those who like nature, hiking and silence. The room warmly decorated and comfortable, small although but sufficient. The food was amazing, everything fresh and made with love. The owners and members of staff were friendly all the time. And, the idea with the dinner in the nature is the best. Plenty of lovely food, wine and laugh! Therefore, I would highly recommend this place to everyone who likes relaxed and nature style of vacation.

  An authentic hotel with wonderful surroundings

  I stayed 4 nights in this hotel for a ski trip. The hotel has more a bed and breakfast atmosphere. Lots of tyrolien charm. Very quiet surroundings, beautiful nature. The spa is nice with a hot tub, sauna, hammam. The breakfast is good with local products. The dinner was good family type meals. I missed a place with a sofa where I could chill and meet other guests. There is no common area. The owners were not comfortable with speaking English and this could be a reason they looked a bit cold. But they did everything at the end to make you feel good.

  Charming chalet

  Nice, cosy, family run chalet at a romantic location. Charming and helpful hosts. Great choice of breakfast menus. You have to go out by car for dinner. Certainly would recommend il Molino, or one of the alp-side restaurants recommended by the chalet. Would not go to the pizzeria in the village.. The hikes are great and can get as strenuous as you wish.
