    This place is the worst to much money for the little crappy dirty room the lights didnt even work this place suck...do not waste your time or money! The room was dirty the sheets on the bed felt damp the mirrors was dirty and the towel they put in the room was very few not enough for me and husband!

    Bad service!!!Bad! Not a luxury hotel !

    They charged our credit card for $1000 + $300 +$300 +100 +$67 !!when we noticed and told them they said the manager would be in in the morning so obviously we did not enjoy our stay! The hotel is not a luxury hotel ! The room was small and my husband was injured when he fell because the floor are slimy and they have no rugs. The manager was no help ! Its 2 days later and we still dont have our $ back for the fraudulent charges! Bad place !

    Amazing getaway for couples

    Check in process was easy and fast, staff members were friendly & fantastic! Julio was great, answered all of our questions & provided great customer service! Room was clean, this made the perfect getaway night for me & my boyfriend. The campfire & jacuzzi are a must have! Most relaxing and comfortable lodge Ive ever stayed in! Worth every penny, cant wait to stay here again! :)

    Unfriendly Front Desk

    For the price, you would expect a more friendly and welcoming reception. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Also the rooms are much smaller than they look on the website. Definitely not an executive suite.

    The worst customer service experience of my life! I was humiliated, belittled and discriminated against!

    The Champagne Lodge provided the worst customer service experience of my LIFE! Not only did they not deliver on promised services and discounts but they humiliated me. On January 27, 2021 I booked an Executive Suite for my husband and I 15th year wedding anniversary. I added on decorations which was a total of $652.14. I made a 82.44 deposit to hold the room. 2 days prior to check in, I called the Champagne Lodge to request our complimentary robes. The young man informed me that I can request the robes at check in. On Saturday February 13, 2021 Barb called me twice in regards to our reservation. On the voicemail, she stated that if I did not return her calls there will be issues with my reservation. However I missed both calls due to the fact that I work the overnight shift and I came straight home to rest. Later that afternoon I called Barb to confirm my reservation. She explained to me several times that if I cancel my appointment or arrive after 9pm there will be a cancellation fee and my room will no longer be available. I reiterated several times that I will be there and theres no need to cancel my reservation. On February 13, 2021 around 7pm my husband and I came to the Champagne Lodge to check in. I explained to the receptionist that Im checking in now so I wont lose my reservation but I will be back later. I also asked him during check in about the complimentary robes. He told me that the robes will be on the bed when I arrive to the room. I also asked about receiving the healthcare workers discount. The receptionist stated that he applied the discount. Around 10pm, we returned to the room. We didnt see our complimentary robes so I called the front to ask where they were. The receptionist stated he had given all the robes out so there were none available. We were very disappointed especially my husband because he was looking forward to the robes. So on Sunday February 14,2021 I went to check out/ return my keys. I spoke with an associate about not receiving our complimentary robes and to double check that I received the healthcare worker discount. The associate said shell have to get the manager. She walked over to the manager which happened to Barb and said a few words to her. Barb immediately turned around looked me in the eye with an evil look and scolded at me stating youre the one that gave me a hard time on the phone yesterday! I was extremely shocked that she spoke to me in that tone and manner. Barb didnt greet me or anything. I reiterated to Barb again, that I work that night shift and I was sleep but Im here now so theres not an issue. Barb then scolded me again and said that I shouldve requested both the robe and discount during check in. I tried to explain to Barb that I did ask for both during check in. She went on to say that that theres nothing she can do about the robes and discount. She said my issues happened on yesterday and today is a new day so I will not be receiving the discount and I can get the discount next time I come. I told Barb how disappointed I was with her customer service skills and I want my healthcare worker discount. She finally said, let me see your ID and told her that I switched bags so its home. I told her that I can pull up my nursing license online. Barb said thats not good enough. Then I told her Ill call my son so he can take a pic and send it to me. She said no, dont call your son because youre not getting the discount. I said, I work at the hospital nearby to Loyola in Maywood. She then says oh you work at Loyola, I know some people that work there Im going to see if they know you, very unprofessional. My mouth dropped and I was in disbelief. I told Barb I didnt say I worked at Loyola. I then tried to show her the picture of my work ID that my son sent me and she refused to look and honor it. At this point I told Barb that she was giving me a hard time, belittling me and I felt as if she was discriminating against me. I told her that I will start recording our conversation. During the recording, Barb is seen ignoring me while I was trying to get answers. She got on the phone and walked away from me. After 10 minutes of Barb humiliating me, the General Manager Ron came out. Ron stated that he heard the entire conversation. Ron attempted to apply a $25 discount to my account. I told Ron at this point, its not about the money/credit, he needs to address the disrespect and wrongful accusations and discrimination Ive been receiving from his employee Barb. Ron went on to tell me to be quiet and listen to him now! Which was disrespectful. He then went and tried to deescalate the situation. During this time, Ron had the audacity to scold me while pointing his finger at me and said dont you ever in your life use that black thing in here, and if you ever bring the black thing in here I will kick you out! At that point they both proved how racist they were! My husband and I immediately left their facility. Ron have yet to reach out to us and offer us an apology! This is the worst treatment I have ever received at an establishment. I am due an apology and some type of compensation for the terrible service and treatment I received.
