  Nice location and clean

  The Dukes hotel is at nice location where is near the Hakata station and Gion. I was so convinience when I stayed on business, but I think it was so nice for sightseeing. And, it was good and reasonable cost for breakfast. Especially, for business, I recommend. Thank you.

  Prime location at a competitve price

  Staff were friendly and efficient, and the lobby is of a classical western style. The rooms was clean and nice. Located just 2-3 minutes from Hakata Station (provided you are with the green signal). Highly recommended.

  Nice Hotel, close to metro station

  We finally arrived after flying in from Texas. We were so tired. Some lovely gentleman at the station noticed our confusion and walked us to the hotel. The hotel was very nice, the room was fine and the breakfast in the lobby cafe was delicious.

  I like the hotel

  Nice hotel, situated so close to Hakata Main Train Station - around 4-5 minutes and it was so easy to find it. The staff - polite and cooperative! The cleaning was efficacy. The room was very clean. The scarfs and pillows were white, the towels were white and well aromatized too. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom facilities - good, with variety from liquid soap, gel and schampoo. There give you a daily free kit with tooth brush with tooth-paste, comb, razor for men, foam, after shaving balsam and cotton buds. The pressure of the water was good. There is hot water 24/7. WiFi - strong signal and free of charge! You've got a little fridge in the room, hair dryer and a trouser press. Tea and coffee facilities - kettle for hot water, daily free sugar, cream, instant coffee and tea bags. In the room exists only japanese electrical outlets, so you need some power plug /adapter. But you can ask the hotel reception and they will give you for free till the end of your stay. There are in the hotel rooms for smokers, which is very pleasent! For me, the only negative thing was the breakfast, because you've got only 1 european /american choice. I hope that the hotel management will take this note into account. The staff in the breakfast room was amazing too. They remember that I like lemons, and every morning they served me sliced lemon. I appreciate that and send them one big thank you!

  Very Good Business Hotel

  Good location right in front of Hakata Station and the subway. Very convenient! Clean and quiet rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a Japanese business hotel. Decoration is Victorian England-like, which I found classy. The lobby felt like an English parlor. Between this hotel and the Hotel Wing International, I would stay here again. (See my other review from 2016.) I really like the character of the place. HWI is closeby too and they have a modern feel, but sterile.
