  Lovely Hotel

  We enjoyed an excellent break at this lovely hotel. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. staff are very friendly making our stay very enjoyable and the Covid precautions are just right making us fell safe and relaxed. Thoroughly recommend the hotel Collingwood. x

  Great Anniversary Break

  We recently had a very enjoyable 3 night break at the Hotel Collingwood for our wedding anniversary. All the members of staff from the dining room, bar, reception and maintenance were very friendly and helpful, We had a lovely room, fantastic meals and the hotel looked great decorated Christmas. We would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the hotel and hope to stay again soon.

  Beautiful hotel, great service & location

  We needed to stay over in the area for a night and TravelZoo has an offer for The Collingwood. As we were taking our dogs, we had to pay extra for a family room plus an additional dog charge. This was half as much again but we had no real option. The public areas in the hotel are beautifully presented but our room was fairly dated. However, it was close to the front door to walk the dogs which was great. Just a short walk and we were near the sea and there is a smashing green area to exercise them. Our room was way too warm, even with the radiator off as we werent able to undo the window. The pillows were also like sandbags, not conducive to a good nights sleep. However the bed was gloriously comfortable. Dinner was included in our deal and that couldnt be faulted. Service from Kieran was attentive and efficient with a bit of banter along the way. The evening food was excellent, as was breakfast utterly delicious. The hotel is very COVID aware with the signs, sanitiser and processes weve come to expect these days. We both felt very safe. Our dogs were made very welcome and accommodated for. Despite the room, we thought the hotel was excellent and will be taking advantage of TZs offer before it expires. Highly recommended

  Mini break

  Really pleased with our stay at Hotel Collingwood. We had an excellent, large, stylish room with a view of the sea. Food and service was 1st class. Bournemouth pier and gardens just a short walk, to enjoy the Christmas lights. Whilst not the quite the Christmas Tree Wonderland this year, the projected lights in the gardens were very good. A real treat to get away and be looked after so well.

  Really Good Stay

  My wife booked this hotel via a Travel Zoo deal on DB&B. When we arrived we were greeted by Adrian in a very friendly and efficiently way. As we had our dogs with us we had to upgrade the room and pay extra for dogs, which to be fair wasn't an extortionate amount. The room itself was okay, slightly dated but it was so warm even with the window open. There was a fan already in the room and TBF it made little or no difference to how uncomfortably warm it was. It wasn't until the temperature dropped in the early hours that the rooms temp dropped. The public areas were very clean and bright. We had a sandwich at lunchtime which was really good. Our evening meal was served by Kieron, who was really pleasant and it was nice to have a bit of banter. The evening meal was really good and served very promptly as was the breakfast in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Overall we cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. If this is not enough reason to stay here it has a large car park and central location......what's not to like! Thank you HC
