  Excellent weekend!

  Last week, my friend and I went to Guangzhou for a weekend vocation and we chose to stay at Conrad. Though the weather was not quite good, our experience at Conrad Guangzhou let us feel the trip was quite wonderful. Before we arrived, I had a conversation with a staff member of the Front office. After knowing we were on vocation and I was a gold member of the Hilton Honors, Mr. Paco Shen kindly offered us the executive floor treatment that let us enjoy afternoon tea and happy hour for free. He also helped arrange a high floor room with a better view for us. When we arrived at the hotel before the check-in time, our room was still under cleaning but my friend felt a bit sick. Noticing my friend did not feel good, the guest service manager Mrs. Alber Cong intensively arranged a good view seat for us at the lobby lounge to let us wait a bit more comfortable and got two bottles of water for us to enjoy. When our room was ready, she also considerately took our room cards to the lobby lounge personally and asked the concierge to take our luggage to our room. Her excellent service really warmed us in that cold day. During that time, Mrs. Kiko Qiu, a member of the front desk team, also kindly asked if it was possible to upgrade my room freely to an executive room that we could check in a bit earlier, but for the purpose to enjoy the river view, we declined her kindness and chose to wait. When I came to the front desk to apply for a later check-out on next morning, she still reminded to ask whether my friend felt better. That really surprised me. When we enjoyed happy hour at the lobby lounge in evening, Mrs. Wing Mo and her executive lounge team served us considerately and warmly. Unfortunately, my friend broke a plate during that time. Wing saw the accident and came to clean our table timely. She kindly asked if we were injured and then helped us apply for waving the payment for the loss. Her first point was the safety of guests rather than the loss really impressed me deeply. When I checked out on the next day, Mr. Paco Shen helped us check out earlier and asked how we felt during our stay. He also gifted us two memorial room cards. We all loved that. The staycation at Conrad Guangzhou was quite wonderful and I believe I will be back again!

  Memorable experience

  This my first time visit of this property. The location is so convenient which is next to the IGC mall. Staff is attentive. Thanks F&B Steven for your anticipation and FO Rene to my room arrangement. Will definitely come back next time.

  Must stay at Conrad Guangzhou

  Overall it is one of my favorite hotel. Every time when I visiting to Guangzhou. I will only choose to stay at Conrad. The location is very great igc mall just next to it and have subway stations connect which is very convenient to access to everywhere. The room itself is very cultural and design. I can feel the old Guangzhou style with all wood furniture. I am big fan of wooden style. Especially want to highlight the Executive Lounge staff they are all welcome and friendly. I really the view there can see the Canton tower. Also the gym and pool are very nice can access with Canton view and very clean and high class changing room. I feel very relax to stay there.

  Stayed a few times

  One of the few nicer properties in Guangzhou in my opinion. The location is quite good for business travelers and the staff are generally pretty professional and friendly. The lounge staff are definitely amongst the nicest I've encountered in China. As far as Hilton properties are concern, there's nothing really to write home about though. It's a fairly standard high end business hotel, though with a lot of hanky panky stuff going on in the lobby.

  Stayed in a 5 star hotel but received 2 star service

  Nice facilities in the hotel with disappointing service. Upon check in, there was no greeting, no hotel orientation, no personal service but robotic check in process. There was a paper bag given upon check in, and no explanation but was asked by myself, and was informed those were the toothbrush, as those were not set up in room. It was odd, as it should be proper explained to each guest instead of just handed it over without a word. Upon check out, it was done within a minute, which was quick. There was only one inquire with the car park issue, but was directed to the concierge for assistance. However, the receptionist next counter helped the guest directly, which made a very strong comparison on service standards.
