  Very unpleasent stay

  Owners are very rude. Tried to have 1 cold beer and was told to go across the road and drink off their propety. Following morning as i was departing the owners were abusing a quite eldly couple,i belive also stayed that night before, about parking in driveway as they also were leaving. Id say there abit on the crasy side.Would suggest staying at Farmbrough Rd Backpackers.

  Small rooms, but worth the stay

  We had a lovely couple of nights here. As others have mentioned, it's unassuming on arrival, but once you go through to the back it's clear why this is a popular place to stay. It has a generous sized pool, a bar (however it is BYO), an avery for rescue birds and a delightful outdoor eating area. The owners are extremely helpful and although it is a short distance to town ($11 in a taxi) it is a short walk to the local shopping centre and only a couple of kilometres to the sailing club right on the beach. Despite the small rooms the place has a communal feel to it and we enjoyed dinners and chatting with the others guests. We will return.

  A Great Place to Stay

  We booked for three nights as a family of four and had such a great time. Thomas the owner was great and very welcoming and his knowledge of the local food and activities was excellent. The rooms and the facilities we found were great and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great holiday.

  Room is too small

  Pros. Thomas provided excellent tips as to what to do. Cons. Room is about 3.5m x 2.5m. Double bed and two suitcases means two people have to dodge each other Rooms are packed together so a lot of noise from others and pool In the burbs of Yeppoon, 5 min drive to town centre, not a walk Instant coffee for paid breakfast! Who wrote these other reviews which are so complementary!

  Great hospitality

  Our group of six ladies absolutely adored the accommodation. The attention to detail was a real credit to the owners and made us feel so welcome. It was a short drive to the town and lagoon. The pool was beautiful and the little added features such as the aquarium, rescue birds, hammocks and the lovely little table outside our rooms were perfect for our meals. It was like a little oasis in the heart of Yeppoon :) Thank you for hosting us. We will be back!
