  buen hotel, un poco alejado del pueblo,tiene servicio de bus al pueblo pero termina a las 6 el servicio. buen ambiente y buenos animadores. muy agradable el personal y serviciales. el desayuno un poco escaso

  Hotel cutre y para olvidar. Abstenerse turistas en general y españoles en particular.

  Fuimos dos familias. Siete personas. Puede sonar duro pero es la realidad: este es un hotel cutre de 4 estrellas que en algunos países no pasaría de 2. Siento decirlo: abstenerse turistas en general pero en especial los españoles. No sé todavía porqué pero los españoles no somos bien vistos...Quizás la historia. Son tantas las anécdotas que contar sobre el mal funcionamiento de este Hotel que prefiero no perder el tiempo ni hacérselo perder a nadie. En general, mala comida, mal servicio, piscina y habitaciones del montón con playa a distancia a la cual, por estar al lado de una autovia, sólo se llega con autobús que acaba a las 18:30. Sicilia es una Isla muy hermosa. Un lugar para descubrir por parte del turismo español con sitios increíbles y volveremos. Seguro que hay muchos y mejores hoteles que este que hemos tenido la desgracia de conocer. Hotel para olvidar.

  We came to this hotel yesterday for our last day and night before flying home. lastminute.com made a cock up and we ended up having to stay here.... we were told 4 star all inclusive. I'm not a moaner per se and this is the first review I have ever made but felt compelled to do so. It is the end of season here in Sicily. We opted for an all inclusive holiday. This morning after breakfast I fancied another coffee and so walked around to coffee bar. I wanted to sit outside as the views are quite stunning. The young girl serving at the coffee bar refused to give me a Cappuccino stating the coffee bar was not open until 10am. She advised us to go back to the restaurant to grab another drink. You are not allowed to take cups out of the restaurant and I did not wish to sit in the humid restaurant again. I sat outside for approx 10mins and decided to return to my room only to find the coffee bar serving coffee to Italian guests. I enquired about getting a Cappuccino again and was refused again. Apparently the coffee bar is only open for cash sales not all inclusive. I asked the young lady for her name and promptly went to reception to complain. Reception advised me it should be ok to have a Cappuccino anytime as I am all inclusive, telephoned the coffee bar. I overheard the receptionist say good day to a different named person that who I had just dealt with. The receptinionist advised me to return to coffee area, which I did, only to encounter the same rude young lady. I asked her if she had recieved the call from reception ( half believing that someone else, a manager had taken the call) she said yes she had taken the call.... this girl had given me the wrong name..... so she knew what she was doing was wrong.... perhaps she is just racist.... no lo so... I dont know. I speak a little Italian and overheard her speaking maliciously about me to the Italians at the bar. Even though our flight is not till 9.... checking out early. Never seen brussel sprouts for breakfast before either. This is a business hotel, not suitable for anyone looking for a cultural family holiday. It looks posh from the outside.... the views are stunning, but feels like a prison... attached photos of our corridor.... Avoid at all costs! You will be disappointed. Thank you to reception staff though.... they are the only ones with any manners here. Food... average Air con switched off Pillow flat as a pancake... weird flush on toilet.... difficult to use... would be impossible for anyone with arthritis. I just cant wait to get out of here.

  Costa Verde

  Costa Verde is a nice hotel. Beautiful few, nice location, kind staff but there is nothing to do outside of the hotel unless you rent a car of take the bus. The food is oke not great. The pool is lovely but very busy and no seats available at times. The evening entertainment starts with music for the 60+ and later on for the middle age people. The Entertainment shows are a big part italian and French speaking so it is hard to keep you focus if you dont understand those languages. The aquapark (3 min walk) was nice. The bus only scheduled 2 max 3 times a day from the hotel to the centre of Cefalu and to the beach. Problem is that the bus goes in the morning around 8.30 am and the bus back at 12 am, this is to short to really do something but to long to just go to the market. The next bus leaves between 3 or 4(dont know exactly) but this is to long if you have small kids like me. The bus is always strickt on time. I had a nice stay at Costa Verde

  Nice, but not worthy of four stars

  Rooms are small, especially the bathroom. Clean, though. Beds are OK. Little variety of food, especially breakfast. Personnel does not speak english, and are not always very friendly. WIFI is terrible.
