  Comfy and peaceful countryside stay in the midst of the concrete jungle

  We went to Ipswich for a 50th wedding anniversary and stayed at the Ipswich Country Motel. We were given a room right down the back of the very neat and tidy property with a view of fields behind us, and no traffic noise. The motel is a bit out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Ipswich but there is a convenient strip of shops across the road with an excellent baker, some takeaway places and a Foodstore. The beds in our room were very comfortable and we were advised they were new. Unfortunately because of the coronavirus threat, the restaurant was closed. But the room was very clean and a good size. The venue would be perfect for big functions once the world is back on its normal axis as it has 44 rooms and a big restaurant. I had been longing to try out the restaurant but the times wouldn't permit it, maybe next time all will be well.

  Clean, tidy best of all friendly

  Come down from Cairns with work. Met by a really friendly receptionist,a credit to the motel. A great help , lots of friendly advice and help. The room was immaculate, very clean and smelt really fresh. Excellent bed and facilities. Due to Vivid the restaurant is currently closed but room service is available. Breakfast, fantastic, dinners even better. Top quality at great rates. Will return for sure.

  Great Quick Stopover

  Had to have a quick stopover in Ipswich for the night while travelling through, absolutely perfect, although there is age on the motel the rooms were more clean then most modern hotels, beds super comfy and quite spacious to throw the suit cases out for a re-pack. Also special thanks to the amazingly friendly staff for organising the late check in and making it all so easy. Highly recommend!!!

  Friendly and clean and recommended

  We stayed at the motel for the night before our balloon flight the next day. Everyone was very helpful and friendly particularly the lady at the front desk and there was a lot of laughter during our checkin. The room is clean and the beds are very comfortable. We slept very well and we loved that the motel is like an old fashioned one where you park in front of your unit and a table and chairs there as well. We loved the complimentary bottles of water they were in the fridge for us and that was a really lovely touch. We will definitely stay there again and recommend them to all.

  Good value for money.

  Large rooms, comfortable beds and linen was crisp and clean. Basic but all we needed for our family of 5 to stay 2 nights while attending a netball carnival in Ipswich. We had the family deluxe room which actually sleeps 7 so it was very spacious. Kids had fun in the pool which was large and clean. It was our second stay here and we will definitely stay again next year.
