  Tybee Island

  Our first trip to Tybee island. Great breakfast bar, clean room, great view with Balcony, Convenient, would definitely recommend, we found good seafood and pizza within five minutes of the hotel. Great place!

  Excellent

  Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms right on the beach. We will definitely stay here in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall we had an amazing time and cant wait to visit again soon.

  Bad HOUSEKEEPING

  This is an updated review from earlier this week. Today is my last day here and my only issue with this hotel is the housekeeping They are horrible! Finally today I got so annoyed because we went out all day, and came back with a dirty room and no clean towels, trash can full of trash AND I was informed housekeeping was GONE FOR THE DAY at 4:00!!! I left the make up room tag on the door before I left ? Plus there was a woman with a little clip board and she had a man with her that came to my door this morning (really weird) and she said do you need anything ? I said yes we need service, we be leaving soon. She said ok. She didnt have a maid cart just a clipboard. The front desk clerk told me she marked me as NO SERVICE . We have even been tipping to get them to clean our room! Horrible! Its been like this all week , a struggle to get them to clean out room. Manager please train your housekeeping staff!!!!

  great beach view

  The bridge walk over to the beach is very accessible - great time!!! Even on a rainy weekend - I loved the beach view! Some place I would bring friends and family either summer or winter!!! The staff were helpful and the breakfast selection fair to fine. Bought a tee shirt as a souvenir.

  Beach is right out the back door!!!

  This was a last minute booking and it was the best hotel I have ever booked, even though there were minor fixes needed, I mever booked a hotel that matched all my requests. I booked in the french quarters this year for new orleans and the pool was closed, Desotos WAS HEATED AND OPEN GREAT FOR CHILDREN. Great staff! We missed breakfast because we were soo tired from swimming and having fun in the hotel room after haha! But man!! My mother commended me for this hotel when I showed her pictures, I have never booked such a good one. We all know booking is stressful, we want free breakfast, free parking, an open pool, a close beach, they all 4! I visited march 5th to the 6th with 2 children and my teenage niece. Our itenirary was small, we went to the Crab Shack down the street and we got the seafood meal for 2 which was $51.99, and that crap really feeds about 3 to 4 people (watch out lol). We went to Wormsloe Historical Site and walked among the palm trees and old spanish moss filled trees then we ended the day off at Seven Below with their rolled up ice cream, never tried it but I am glad I did. First time to Savannah and even though it was cold that heated pool can definitely make your friends jealous when you post your videos and photos haha!
