  Very Comfortable and Modern, near North Campus

  The DoubleTree has done a very good job overall at modernizing and updating what used to be a Holiday Inn. With Covid-19 making travel more stressful these days, I appreciated the evidence of stringent cleaning procedures and the promotion of social distancing. I would have liked to have seen better enforcement of face coverings in the hotel. While guests generally complied in the lobby area, unfortunately, there were others in the hallways who behaved selfishly to their fellow travelers, one even getting on the elevator without a mask (!). I soon took the stairs to my fourth-floor room. The pluses: Well-appointed rooms with tasteful, modern furnishings, great water pressure, quiet surroundings, and a convenient location near the North Campus and a number of good shopping options. Potential areas for improvement: The A/C unit was a bit noisy at night. The bagged "to go" breakfasts left much to be desired for a Hilton brand. Overall verdict: Despite some boorish behavior by other guests, the DoubleTree offers a good value with nice, clean and modern surroundings and professional, friendly and hardworking employees.

  Stay here often!!

  Tammy, Brett, Tyler, Denise, and Alex! Sadly Robert isnt here anymore but he too was amazing!!! We come here for my sons appointments at Motts Childrens. The staff is kind, caring, and they all go above and beyond to accommodate us!! They are beyond amazing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know!!! See you guys in February!!! The rooms are clean and they ALWAYS make sure we didnt forget anything! Ask if there is anything else we need I managed a few hotels in Kalamazoo, I would have LOVED to work for This one!! We will be back!!! Also, you should check it out!!

  don't stay here for your safety

  your hotel sucks, there's no hygiene anywhere, I stayed for a weekend, and it was terrible, we're supposed to be quarantined, and in the rooms, there's people who throw parties, I wish the authorities would do something about it, there was more than one party in the halls with a lot of people in the rooms, don't stay here, this sucks

  Winter vacation to Ann Arbor

  Me and my partner got into Ann Arbor late at night and to the hotel by 12:30. Nia was very friendly and pleasant and greeted us with so much enthusiasm and positive energy. She got us all taken care of and ready to go to our room. Then we asked Nia about the area and the must go to spots in Ann Arbor. She told us many spots all over so we could to get to know the true charm of Ann Arbor. Nia even went the extra mile to create a detailed list of all the spots we could go and and categories of foods, attractions, and nature. I've never had a postive hotel check-in story until I worked with Nia, and so we are grateful for our first pleasant Ann Arbor experiences that we had thanks to Nia.

  My 3 day stay at Double Tree by Hilton

  This hotel is phenomenal! I planned to stay for one day, the price was so good I stayed 3 nights. The room was very spacious and clean. My bed was a king size, the TV looked like it was a 50 inch or so. The management and staff were so nice and friendly! Especially Dan (The General Manager) very nice and a accommodating. The room looked so nice and the bathroom shower, is a walk in glass door shower..Wayyyy awesome.com!! I think I found my new getaway weekend home, haha. Thank you so much Double Tree for my wonderful, peaceful stay. I will back! . Way to go! Job well done.
