Excellent service at Dunsley HallWe have just had an overnight stay in a garden room with our dog. Lots of space and comfortable bed, kettle and coffee/tea and sparkling water left out, good TV and nice shower too. Very clear instructions about precautions for COVID-19 protection. Masks, gel, wipes available. Bar and restaurant staff wearing masks and service tables at the side of your dining table used. Staff were friendly and made it a very safe and enjoyable dining experience. Well done to everyone at the hotel as I am sure it cant be easy to make such adjustments. We would certainly stay here again.

Afternoon teaBooked on the half price covid offer, the accommodation is beautiful, and cant be faulted. The afternoon tea was ok, what we had was very nice, but sadly not an experience I'd really want to go back for.

DisappointedPlease think twice before you stay at Dunsley Hall. Looking for a much needed break what with illness and COVID19. We arrived and showed to a room totally unstable we asked for a walk in shower we were given a bath great if your young! Not 70 something. They couldn't move us till the following day they did around 5pm a full day travelling and a full day site seeing without a shower yak. The room we were moved to was disgusting filthy, the valence bedding was enough to make me feel sick. I knew they didn't have another room empty on ground floor so didn't say anything, I don't like confrontation and having complained once was already feeling uncomfortable. 2 year's ago it was amazing but will NEVER GO BACK.

Super snuggy!!Lovely period hotel filled with charm. We were welcomed by the owner who was incredibly friendly and helpful. We requested a room change to a period room and were delighted with room 6 which was large...comfy with a huge bed, clean and quiet. We had evening meal at the hotel which was a 3 course and very tasty and the breakfast was equally yummy! Staff all very friendly, Covid safe and a place we will definitely return to.
