  Friendly staff and recently renovated rooms

  This is a nice place to stop in Funäsdalen. The staff was friendly and rooms was recently renovated. I would have wished for a bit more space since we were two adults, one baby and two dogs. We enjoyed a nice breakfast.

  Great family stay

  We had a great time during our summer stay. Stayed with our one year old son. Overall the staff was very helpful with any requests we had and quickly learned what we wanted. Very friendly atmosphere. Some flaws with the breakfast that was good but the juice was a bit bland. The nightclub is closed during summer which I believe added to the calm and family friendly atmosphere. Rooms where refurbished in 2015 and held a very good standard. Quiet and comfy beds. Ok bathroom. No elevator to the second floor though. Did eat at the restaurant all nights with their half pension package. Great food but wines where sub standard on the glass and no non alcoholic wines for my pregnant wife. Good value for the money is still my overall take. Will definitely consider a revisit during the summer time if in this area.

  Unexpected four night stay when we were due to be visiting family

  We were heading to this area to stay with our family in their mountain house, but unfortunately the family were all taken ill, such that we had to seek alternative accomodation. Having read some reviews we selected this hotel. We were welcomed by an excellent receptionist (Maria) who sorted our room requirement and bearing in mind our circumstances held room space for us for 4 nights. The original room was on the gound floor of the main building and was very nice indeed. After two nights it was the weekend and they were fully booked, but Maria managed to accomodate us in an adjacent "overspill" block which was perfectly adequate, given our circumstances.. The hotel is only 4/5 minutes walk from the village centre so very convenient for shops and the funicular railway up to the mountain top nearby. The overnight charge includes an excellent buffet breakfast, whilst we also used the in house restaurant for dinner on each of our four nights there. The food and wines were exceptional. Highly recommended.

  Pleasant hotel with a well equipped SPA

  Good location : quiet hotel, close to pleasant hikes with scenic views (lakes) and wildlife (many reindeers around) Breakfast buffet with a large choice of fresh & quality products : hot & cold Free access to pool and SPA (jaccuzzi, sauna) Dishes at restaurant are tasty and properly cooked Attentive staff We definitely enjoyed our stay (3 nights)

  Great hotel in Funäsdalen

  Rooms, staff, service, spa, breakfast and dinner was just great. It's also very centrally placed in the village. We got the package deal. Sunday true Thursday. In that dinner is included and also preset what to include. My experience is that it means you will at least not like one dinner. That was not the case here. Every dinner tasted great If you do not now all the things you can do the staff will för sure help you!
